Alright, finally getting some new/old Sac blood in here. DeeJayZero, how many peepz can you have over bro, within a month interval? We used to get gatherings going in Sac at bboykilo’s house on saturdays, but he’s a busy man. You should hit up Tyram’s tourney in Fresno this saturday, it’s nothing but STHDR. I play a little bit myself, and admit my scrubdom is beyond the worth of a couple minutes drive to just play. But i play most fighting games that are out right now (and the old stuff) so i am down to play whatever really. Just give me a shout if you plan on doing something, if marvel is involved then i can get a ride lol.
Well I’ve got an apartment with my pops. Good sized living room with a wrap around couch that can hold about 6 or 7 people. I play on a 47 inch vizio. I’m usually working weekends and off during the week. I’m always down to kick it as long as I’m off. As for a gathering, that’s kool so long as I’m not supplying all the food and drinks.
When it comes to the games I’m pretty focused on SSF2THDR. I’ve been waiting a long time for SF to come back into the light and now that it’s here I’m all about it. I’ve played a little Tekken and Soul Calibur but not too big on em as of late. Not into any other fighters that I can think of. Sorry, not a big fan of the marvels. Only cause I got tired of getting hit with ridiculous combos. Haha.

Sounds nice, i really need to get that job soon so i can get a car. I wouldn’t mind popping in once a week or however often you like to play some STHDR. I’m trying to learn some Ken, and once i figure him out and how the fuck to do those Kara w/e’s i will move to Dee Jay(10 hit combos ftw). Sad to hear about your marvel experience, its really a fun game but i guess the thought of being put in a combo that never ends does kinda ruin it for most gamers lol. Tyram is always looking for people to play online at least, i pick up every now and then but its a pain in the ass sometimes to hook the cable up to the PS3 so thats why i haven’t been practicing as much. In the meantime, if there is no one within walking/light rail distance from my house i won’t be going out much unless it involves marvel. Not having a car blows =/ But i got AIM so if you want some matches online, just hit me up. :tup:
Shit…good luck with the job hunt man; especially nowadays. I was trying to pick up a second job not too long ago and couldn’t find a damn thing. But uhm, I get on STHDR pretty much everyday. I’ve been trying to beef up my Ryu but recently went back to Blanka. Still trying to get used to my Hori though. Still don’t have that confidence I had when playing on the D-pad. As for Marvel, I’m down to play but I’ll let you know now that it’ll be like hitting a punching bag. I remember playing on Dreamcast and just didn’t feel like putting in the time to learn all the countless combos. When it comes to playing online, if I could I’d probably play all day. But because I’m stuck with a wireless connection I usually just quit after a few matches just out of frustration from lag and disconnects. And I’m sure I’m pissing off other players as well. Just one more week until I get my dedicated modem for my ps3. Then it’ll be on like donkey kong! But yeah I’ll add you to my psn list, and maybe we can get some practice in soon.
yea i’ve been working on saber. but i’ve yet to play the game against anything but the cpu so i’m probably horrible.
and really, i found that if i slow my execution down in fate and hold buttons for inputs instead of tapping things are like 10 times easier. (atleast for me)

Well its for DC but shieeeeet guys, there is a PSX version which doesn’t play the same exactly…but if your desperate go for it. They also have Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure for 2dfighter and GGPO. I play on 2dfighter but i hear GGPO is where its at now a days. Sadly i can’t play there :sad: But hell i got a DC and a copy of jojo’s along with memory (of nothing…). There is a tier list somewhere in the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure thread in the Other Games section of SRK. Game is pretty combo heavy, and high level play is rather difficult to get to (naturally). Literally, 1 frame window to input links for certain combos Fun game though, wish u guys could play, but yeah if no DC then its kinda bleh >.<
Sounds fun. But I think I’ll be fine with just playing Fate when I’m not playing BB for now, since that game is the fighting game equivalent of disgaea lol.
Luvia’s actually very low tier. Her normals are pretty garbage for the most part, and her damage average compared to the rest of the cast.
