I stand by the Arcadia list, simply because I’ve played part 1. Aran is pretty much the same(he was mid tier there), and Garnet actually LOST some things(she was near top IIRC). Aran had some fucked things back in RF1 revolving around knocking you down, making you block a meaty strong FB(the slow, big one), then rushing your shit. That was avoidable then, though(and even more now with “rolls”).

My Orville is getting there. There isn’t much he can do to anyone that can sneak in past his s.LK, and they took away his 1-low hit autoguard on his qcf+p. They made it godlier against other attacks, though.
And I maintain that Hazama/Mito are God Tier, I destroyed a few Arans while you weren’t looking.
Why is that??? They start to play it from TRF1 which was out in Japan in March of 2004. And a lot of good TRF1 players are still playing, like Kogat. Japs start to play TRF2 in the end of march 2005, and now they are pretty good at it. Just watch some vids from Ko-Hatsu or rumblefish2.com
Actually, the good RF2 players aren’t where the vids are. It’s partially because it’s not an EXTREMELY popular game. It has a following, but it’s kinda like how VF4 is here.
no this thread isn’t dead but we need some sources for more rf2. i started to play with hikari and it would be good if there were more vids and faqs for the game. i hope some more vids come down the pike soon. but keep playing folks
Hey guys I was just informed that there is another spot in chinatown near ctf where they have rumble fish 2 for 25cents. kick ass! so maybe friday we can all head over to the spot on bowery and play and somebody can bring a camera so we can tape some casuals and generate some interest. if anybody is interested post in this thread. hope we can get something together.
i believe it is. in that store on bowery that sells stationary and cd’s in the back they usually have snk games and stuff. they have rf2 there for a quarter. i figure we can get some ample practice. so we see if we can get some folks over there tomorrow.
wow. nobody played rf2 yesterday. is this game already dead in the water? i watch great match vids online and i have alot of enthusiasm towards this game. but at ctf, there just doesn’t seem to be enough interest. is there any way to generate more than just the same 5 ppl that play? suggestions folks would be much appreciated i just started learning how to play with hikari, but it sucks cuz there is no one 2 practice against :o( i mean i dont like tekken and mvc2 sucks major moose nuts. finally a decent fighter that i can sink my teeth into and ppl have no interest. well that’s my rant for the day. cya the regulars around sometime. hopefully this will change.
