I totally agree with this notion and i believe that rf2 has to potential to have an ecletic mix of fighting and game styles just gotta get people to wake up. BTW, I have discovered some new tricks with orville tick throw setups and what not and i just saw a good bazoo vid on ko-hatsu that has given me some ideas. Anyway thx for your input saotome always appreciated :o)
Hooray, we’ve temporarily rescued this thread from being an RF2 bash - fest!
And yeah, the Bazoo player(s) that have been featured on Ko-Hatsu are nuts. The fact that you can hold the rock fall for a friggin’ long time (and have multiple held at the same time) is crazy, and they exploit it perfectly. And of course The Aran Show is usually in full effect as well, but now that I think about it (and the fact that I use Aran a fair bit), he actually shouldn’t be that difficult to beat. Then again the Hazama / Aran vid that’s on Ko-Hatsu at the moment is crazy - Hazama gets off to a great start, then Aran just takes over and beats the shit out of him.

Combo into critical. That either means 50% of your life gone (1 full bar) or you killed the guy in a close game.

I’m not alone when I say that the top tier in this game are really, really, really fucking gay, ask anyone about Nick T’s Greed streak yesterday, so in that sense, yeah the game is really stupid, and there are definitely some things that need to be toned down / adjusted.
Yesterday was mid tier goodness however, and many people developed new strategies and there was just alot of fun and competition to go around. I even managed to get a 10 win streak going with Kaya.
