On another note, i use vega as a secondary character in sf4. I think I’m pretty good with him. I use him as sort of a hit and run, annoying poking character. Now i just watched finger cramps vid on rolento and they said he was hard to use. So do you guys think I’ll have a hard time using him? Or an easier time since he plays similarly to claw?
Hey, a buddy of mine is going to get SFxT, and he’s thinking of maining Rolento. Now, all he has is a copy of SSF4:AE for the 360. Is there a character he can train with to get an idea on how Rolento should be played, or does he have to get another game (Alpha 2, Alpha 3, CvS2)?
so hype for this character. just went through a bunch of CvS2 match footage with Combofiend so I’m really feeling how he plays. amazing space control, footsies, solid damage.
well most are saying -1 on block. Hopefully we can back dash after the 1st one hits, but he has that ridiculous slide that will most likely catch all character who don’t have a godlike backdash (Julia, Xiaoyu)
Rolento/Hugo would be pretty good as, theoretically, Hugo solves Rolento’s problem of only doing ok damage and Rolento solves Hugo’s problem of not being able to get in well. Ideally, you would want Rolento to get a combo and in the combo tag in Hugo with a launcher or a meter or w/e and let Hugo do his standard post launcher ender of s.lk xx lp giant palm breaker > shootdown backbreaker. From there Hugo can run his own mix-ups on the opponent’s knockdown without having to worry about getting in, but rather about staying in especially against zoning characters like Sim and Guile.
That is actually going to be the team I’m thinking of running SO UH…
They Are gonna have to nerf Rolento… His Patriot circles are way to Scrubby… Patriot circles have never been that Safe on block ever… You thought Fei longs Rekka’s were overpowered… Rolento’s Patriots circles are plan dumb.:lame:
I Really like Rolento too but did you guy’s see what Combofiend did on Cross assault?!?!? That was just a sneak preview.
