Page 16, Paragraph 2 “Makoto has a huge varity…”
for editing
Also, you dont have level 2 focus blocked > mk karakusa setup, opponents can only jump out of that setup!
thanks for the typo spotting. this thing is almost 14,000 words, so it’s a real hassle to proof by myself.
Lurked for a long time in this forum…yeah… me… anyway thank you blackadde…
i’ve spread the word on my twitter. So japanese will DL it too
Oh how it feels so good to be a Makoto player and read this.
Wow!!
Thanks,amazing book o/
updated book with some minor errata, check first post
cool! i saw that. let me know what they think, or if they have things to add!
i still want to do a vol. 2 with all the matchup stuff, but i realized that there is no way in hell i could write it all …
Just went through every word of this… its a lot to take in, even for someone like me who knows most of this stuff and more. There is a lot we can add to it though. So crazy that this is just for 1 character in the game lol.
I keep asking my self while reading: “Is there really that much information on her out there?” Apparently so lol.
And people want one for their characters too. They better get to work then!
When the guide mentions “OS pressure” is it referring to option selects or am I missing something?
Mike, u made such a awesome guide.
Makes me wanna learn makoto as a secondary.
I’m thinkin either guy or makoto.
thanks sang. if you need some training help lemmie know.
i really should have put a glossary in this — i’m referring to safe option-select pressure, which tends to just be very low risk so you can see how hard your opponent mashes on wakeup.
Was almost positive that’s what you were referring to, but I just wanted to double check.
Guys I just put this on my kindle… EPIC!!!
Fantastic guide. I’ve been looking more into Makoto lately as I’ve been having a lot of fun playing her casually, and having this aptly-titled Bible as a reference is great. Thanks for all the hard work!
That guide is beautiful! I’ve been wanting to do something like that for ages(even captured/uploaded hitbox pictures and wrote stuff), thanks for the inspiration! That guide should be used as a blueprint for every other guide! Very nice work! Are you a designer?
Holy crap! This guide is serious! Thanks, blackadde. I just wandered into the Makoto forums today and I’m really impressed.
