…I was trying it with the banshee. I can get the banshee, but can’t pass the barier.
Just to inform those who care,
there is a CvS2 tournament tomorrow. I am pretty sure there’ll be a tekken tournament too.
The usual time etc etc. Kolonji is running it this time.

Here’s how I do it…
Kill the marines right off, get the tank, drive across the bridge, kill the marine halfway across, and then the banshees show when you get to the end. Kill all the wraiths and ghosts there, and use the tank to lure a banshee into the tunnel. Kill the marines at the bottom fastlike, or else they’ll shoot down your banshee. Once you get to that point, the banshee’s AI craps out, and he’ll have a tendency to fly into walls until you get a certain distance away, at which point it’ll “pick up the scent” so to speak.
Drive the tank up the right hand side where the marines would be crowding if they weren’t all dead, and from there you should be able to get it up and over. Now, this is the tricky part-you have to keep an eye on the banshee at all times while you make your way through this part(technically once you kill the hog, you should) or else it’ll vanish. With the tank you should be able to kill everything and keep the banshee around without much problems. Once they’re all dead, lure the banshee into the last part of the tunnel, and then into the passageway. This can take a few tries, as well as figuring out how to make the banshee do what you want it. Once you’ve lured it to the final stretch of the passageway, the part that leads up the sewer pipe and out, it’ll get stuck on the entry, due to it’s wings. Use the battle rifle to blow off both wings without killing the pilot, and as it starts flying up again, board it. Time it right, and you’ll hop in right as it crosses the loading point and the pilot disappears. Do it wrong, and the banshee vanishes too, or blows up.
From there I usually kill all the jackals in that first area so I can hit a checkpoint, and then save it. I have a whole profile dedicated to the scarab gun. At that point it’s a simple task of flying up, getting the gun, and flying back down. Knock out the soccer ball and go wild with that for a while. There’s so much weird crap you can do on Metropolis with a banshee and a scarab gun.

there will still be tekken 5 tourney, but cvs2 is play at your own risk, no tourney until further notice.

yeah, buttons keep getting worse, no point in paying extra to play on them when new buttons are already on the way.
I take it you posted the first post last night before the machine tried to eat us and hissed a lot (around closing). I’ve never heard a machine do that when it loses power before. I hope it turned back on in the morning! :wow:
