After much in depth [youtube] research, I have in my opinion come to the conclusion that Jennifer Hudson or Kelly Price are the heirs to Whitneyâs throne. Not so much achievement-wise, but moreso in longevity and vocal ability. I have criteria but I guess it all just depends on your personal style perhaps?
At any rate I think Jennifer Hudson has the LEAST versatile voice, but the strongest and most soulful voice and will be here for a while if not indefinitely. If I had to make a top 5 however I would probably say:
