That beat is exactly the kind of production I like to hear. I’m a producer myself, and I’ve been doing it for a while, but I never really got into working heavily with samples/sampling. Almost everything I do is synth based. I need to spend some time working on those skills.
What I hate about sampling is well research. It takes time…that I usually don’t have.

There’re also clearance issues if you ever want to use it commercially. It’s just less of a hassle all around to do original material. But damn, some tracks are just made by a good sample.

I’d say most women generally don’t put in the work, but some very fine ones definitely do. I remember a girl who ran track that had a ridiculous body…but talk about a let down. I was literally bored. Then there was a girly girl chick going for her masters degree. Really pretty. Shocked the hell out of me. It was freaknik to the 10th power. She was the last chick I would have expected to go X-factor. I don’t have a clue what the common denominator is though, because I sure can’t tell by looking. Wish I could.
I think “pretty girl syndrome” depends on how you even step to the girl in the first place. If you’re dead set on putting her on a pedestal, then I wouldn’t expect much out of her. If you’re letting her chase after you, and they will chase…then you can expect her to put in work when the time comes. I definitely had the girly girl chick chasing. Then again, I know some chicks will only get wild when they feel comfortable enough around you. Takes a while for the inhibitions to come off for a lot of them.
