So I drive as an Uber driver part time. And I was talking to my passenger about rap and the current state. And he reminded me that we have kinda a pre-SoundCloud generation of rappers who disappeared off the face of the earth. Like that weird in between kanye/hov and Cole and Kendrick. Like asher, Cudi, that dude who was into sonic… That whole generation just gone. It’s so weird how not one of that Gen really survived. Bob dipped a few years back too. Just mainstream wise.
