… Sarcasm doesn’t translate well online

To be fair, wasn’t sarcastic about Snoop not being a real gangster.

His peers from the 1990s like 2Pac and a few others have confirmed that he just pretends to be a Crip because of rap/hip-hop or he thinks it’s cool.

I’ve noticed that 50 Cent doesn’t use the n-word anymore or even cuss at all as of late. Don’t remember if he cussed in his songs back then or not.

You know…this is probably one of the saddest metrics in Hip Hop. It just turns being a hip hop artists into a jingle writer. If all you want is catchy shit, that’s easy enough to make.

I’m listening to French Montana right now and…wtf is this? 161 million views and 0 flow. This guy isn’t a rapper, dude is just a voice over a trendy instrumental. This is terrible.

Jesus, at least Logic can rap.

2pac aignt the one to confirm someone’s gangsta status. Lmfao are you serious of all people to use. Yes he was Def a real gang banger.

He’s probably one of those people that think Tupac was from the west coast.

2Pac wasn’t really a gang banger either though. Think the only legit gang banger was Ice T.

That’s the point. You can’t use someone who aignt even official to use as an indicator of who is and isn’t a real gangsta.

Ice t aignt the only official gang banger from that era You need to go back and relearn your hip hop history.

?? This is specifically about verzus battles. They originally started as beat battles. But evolved into different catagories including what how they hit in the culture. Logic does not hit in hip hop culture like French Montana. If this was a pure lyrics vs lyrics or freestyle vs freestyle I’d agree. But that’s not how these specific battles work.

He Def is a rapper and has been deep in the NY scene and been consigned by a bunch of respected people. Him and the coke boys were grinding for a while before they got picked up by bad boy. I get he might not be your kinda thing but he Def has flow. Again not about a lyrics vs lyrics. "insert desus and mero hip hop gif here *

Some UK OGs spittin mad bars…

Lyrics (just in case you have trouble understanding):
(And ive got stick with lasers
And we’ve got tools that bang
And I’m quick on the draw like Usain Bolt
Whip it out if a boy gets jumpy)

Run a man down with a brick
Left dust on his face, did that for the family
Knocked back two shots of the brandy
Need a man knocked down then shout me
Take hold of the wheel
Wind the windows down while I fix his steering
Got paid by the last job well
You can tell by the size of the rocks in my earrings
Pull up and spray at the windshield
Lay one down and I’m going cross country
It can get a bit rough down there
So I bought a new Kevlar vest off Gumtree

And I’ve got stick with lasers
And we’ve got tools that bang
And I’m quick on the draw like Usain Bolt
Whip it out if a boy gets jumpy

BAS:

Bust shots in the cafe big stack of hash browns
Break necks when I’m walking around
Quick shwi-shwi-psh and he’s down
I’ve got bands locked down in the war chest
And I’ve got eyes on the unmarked van
If he comes round here then I’m capping his knees
And his mates can wheel him around
Didn’t wanna do that neither
Ghillie suit in the back of the Beamer
Quick little scrap at the roulette table
Bouncing his head off the dealer
I whip sticks out and I’m ringing off rounds
And I’m quick with the fingers
Full room on the floor
Might have broken a couple of windows

PETE:

Put a strap to the back of his head
And he’s conked out dreaming
The whole family’s scheming
Got my wife on the road in the evenings
Make more money in the night time
Dings on the line that’s daylight saving
Put a fist to his face and he dropped dead weight
And became best mates with the pavement
Got a thingamajiggy I’m rejigging it quickly
And I’m adding all sorts of attachments
Big scope with the thermal sight
And I’m up on the rooftop prone on a mattress
Breaker breaker, Pete’s in the pub with a baked potato
Pint in his hand and a Sunday paper
Not today boys, I’ll see you later

BAS:

Sent big boys home in a box
Four days on the trot
Don’t pay for the postage
Look son, get with the programme
Touch the remote and your neck gets broken
You must be joking
Got two pool balls in a tube sock
And I’m gonna boot this front door open
Hand in a plastic bag
Rip off the ankle tag and poke him
I don’t want a call from the coast guard
Chained to a block so a mans not floating
Handbreak turn in a Jag
Won’t catch me waving a flag
I’ll clap every one of you mugs
Then I’m out on the town with a pint and a fag
…dirty money?

Yeah, they probably feel it’s dirty money in one way or another. Legally; not just because it’s tied to MC Splinter.

Pedo money

Looking at all of the 69 youtube controversy videos lead to this. Sad that a girl (Danielle Bregoli) is more G than 69. Supposedly there was beef between the 2 as well.

Also the other 2 wannabe gangster girls being forced by their families to act this was aint about that life when confronted by Danielle in real life. Those 2 girls were lucky they had “bodyguards” or Danielle would’ve owned them.

Parents let their children do this now?

Is every black person a wannabe gangster to you? I’ve been watching that dude for years and he had never claimed it

No, just like not every person is a gangster and not everyone person isn’t a gangster.

Thought we were all trying not to be gangsters and not be proud to be gangsters.

He never acted or claimed to be. You don’t know the difference between a thug and people who just grew up in the hood
