The Rap Thread: News, Reviews, Rants & Opinions: Volume 10 : Speak up young man, we can't understand your mumbling!

Nick’s team IS nice tho, their verses were good, Nick was the weak link. But now they have to contend with Royce, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks & Joyner Lucas…whew

And why was Nick rapping like he had throat issues? Nigga sounded like John Lauranitis, thought he was bout to do an Ace Crusher on the track

I like how em called nick or and everyone ignored it. Nick is just responding.

IIRC, the beef died down, then recently Nick brought up Em during an interview, then Em dissed him in return on Fat Joe’s song so the beef jumped off again.

Technically this time, it suprisingly wasnt Em who re-ignited it. Unless I missed a recent development, I could be wrong

Eminem demanded an apology from nick. There’s no need for him to respond. Nick took himself out.

Nick’s crew did not have nice verses. Stahp. You could make taco shells out of that track because they went full corn. Suge Knight then pretending he doesn’t know who Em is. Bro, he outsold most of your label by himself. Pretty sure you know that name.

Song that popped it off:

Man, Nick got hit with the Kenshiro tech: dude kept walking but he was already dead.

Suge son said you never heard anybody playin Em’s music…but when you heard anybody bumpin Nick Cannon?

Nick is warming up. Trust me all the battle rappers are waiting. Alot of them have beef with em over his small stint in the current battle rap game where he kinda fucked some dudes over. King of the dot guys already talkin about em

Why is Suge Knight involved in this?

I have never seen so many rappers white knight for em… Even at the height of his popularity.

Em was still fighting the white boy rapper stigma at his peak. The man is a living legend at this point. No one can deny his talent and contributions.

Talent yes… Contributions is questionable

Em was Aftermath (not Death Row). But yeah, OG 4 lyfe!!!

EDIT:

Eminem is the Chuck Norris of rap

I like how when ppl try to say Eminem is trash, they use his WORST material to compare it to another rappers BEST, then its usually a super legendary rapper that no one would publically argue against like Andre3000 (fun fact: Em been gave 3000 his props but idiots don’t research) they compare him to

The fact that it takes rappers of those calibur and most his of his peers didnt step to him lyrically is a testament to Em’s ability

Soooo who wants to be the first to talk about this. Cause that beat sounds like it was made for the weekend and he’s talkin about how he doesn’t take disses well. Come on nigga. You take disses and sit the fuck down… Also that stuff about him. And the weeknd making up is fine. But the weekends career just beginning Lmfao. New album and he’s in a movie that has Oscar buzz

Not a bad song by Drake tbh, he was actually flowing, but does he really wanna go down that Pusha T path again? Ain’t go well at all last time, Pappa Jay Prince had to step in and save him…

its not bad but alot of its gonna go over mainstreams head. which may not be a good choice for a new single.

Seems like a track that should be on a mixtape. But he’s Drake so it’ll probably do well as a single regardless

Your Old Droog coming through with the last hot album of the year, that’s what’s up
