I definitely heard the crowd clapping with the beat in that performance…and usually you can barely hear the crowd during the performance on these shows anyway. Well it seems that way whenever I catch it. It’s not like they knew the words to the song or anything to sing along. I bet if they had showed the crowd during that performance they’d have been groovin.

Cassidy has two AMAZINGLY popular singles, and went nowhere because niggas stopped caring too fast and he went straight to jail at the height of his buzz.

Nah I can listen to each in small doses (poet laureate II is my shit). Nobody is denying that they have skills but they had that “Best lyrical spitter” hype behind them that ultimately never payed off in comparison to other artists. Well Cass and Canibus at least put out albums. They were good at what they did but they weren’t well rounded artists. Not artists I’d be motivated to sit through a whole album for, just listen to a few songs here and there.
