Real talk I got a dilemma I’ve been currently working at Ross for a few weeks and I truly dont like this company at all like non whatsoever the managers are douchebags they try to call me in when I’m at school,I barely get breaks and we are so understaffed we cant close on time which fucks up my hours and pay.I just barely like this job and the complete bitch my manager is she lies about my hours n shit. Should I leave and go to Old Navy or should I stick to Ross. The discount at old navy is way better even though I do have friends at Ross who make the job bearable and fun some days but the management is unbearable
Make sure your move benefits you. Remove your emotions and look at it fully. If you feel moving on is the best… have plan B prepped and in line (ie… in 2 weeks you will be starting guaranteed at Old Navy) so there is not gap in pay and you can walk away clean/business like.
Well is this just an Xmas job? If so, just do what nets the most money. Now if this is year long ‘hold me down money’ type job, then you got to rank happiness a step higher.

simple, the week you finish one job, say your last day is a friday, you make sure that on monday you are WORKING at your new job. Most jobs have a 2-3 week overlap in terms of getting paid so you get your last paycheck 2-3 weeks after you’ve finished. Well if you start when you stop, you won’t get your first pay check for that 2-3 weeks…so they sort of fall ontop of each other or are seperated by one week.
