Well Omarion I can’t take seriously, Lloyd is on point, J Holiday? Who the fuck is that like honestly never heard of’em, Trey Songz - no fakin I’m feelin the shit dudes put out recently, Usher? Last thing he dropped of minor relevance was “Confession”, like in 02-03. I guess my thing is like, the songs of his I like, are the ‘heavier’ ones (production wise), sometimes a factor of bass, sometimes its just a meaner vibe, but the harp use with butterfly feeling drums just feels like locked up potential. He loves that harp soooo much, as well as the lighter piano notes, but he needs al ittle more balance for me…like his topics are on point, his technique is on point, and I’m not knockin what he puts out (I like it), just wish he had mroe tracks like “Sexy Love” and “Closer”…and I’d like him to work with more rappers not because of ‘another r&b ninja on a hook’ syndrome, but he seems to bring a little something out of tracks with others, and I’d liek to see him make some of these dudes flex a little more.
