if you play a BO3 ranked and one player does RQ on the 3rd match
do none of the players get any points or do both players still get the points from the first two matches?

I want to go back to ranked again grinding my LP up

be aware that its no real best of 3.
people can leave after the second match and let you back with less points then before
so you might reconsider on certain persons to give them a rematch.

At least on PS4, uploading a video takes about as much effort as it does to, y’know, ragequit and restart the game/internet connection.

You hit a button, then you hit another button, and then you take literally a minute to edit the video on the Youtube site. It took me about as much of an effort to type this post as it does to go through the whole post-a-ragequit-video process.

Threads like these are great resources for knowing which players to avoid! You recognize the name, you deny’em the match, they wind up playing fewer non-ragequitting players, everyone wins except the ragequitting peeps.

When you have someone defending their right to ragequit in the thread as well, that’s just the delicious butter on the salty popcorn.

Anyone who thinks I’m defending rage quitting didn’t bother to actual read my posts. I’m simply explaining my perspective and after rewatching the video I simply just don’t feel bad. It wasn’t a ragequit for points, it was a returning of the proverbial middle finger that was given to me. You can choose to not see my side of it, as you’ve already done, but I’m not defending rage quitting. Please, learn to read.

And uploading and editing a video takes much more effort. That is not a debate. It’s just another salty display but you guys can delude yourselves into thinking otherwise. The it’s a pointless effort at any rate. You only decide who you want to play in battle lounge so… what? Even if someone memorized every fighter ID in this thread it would be impossible to avoid them.

Just another indication that this thread only exists so you guys can let out your own salt.

Kind of surprised to see myself in here. I do a good job of holding the L. Based off our ranks this looks to be like day one or two of SFV, in which case I’m just going to assume I left because it was laggy on my end.

Not trying to justify it but rewatching this it looks to be jittery for you so who knows what I was experience. I do apologize though, I had no idea people cared this much about the points to actually spend time uploading dozens of videos. At a certain point it seems more sodium fueled than someone getting annoyed at lag and quitting. Just saiyan.

It was a surprise because he is a frequent poster in this thread. I wouldn’t call it a rage quit, more like a coward quit by not risking losing the points. He won the first match, then we did rematch and in the second match, he quits after the first round when he got beaten.

Just had two dirty RQ, one just RQ on me because what i said, using ultimate against a dizzy player is immoral rofl.
The second one is one of the fakest gold rashid player that just left after the second match of the series.
Rematch with all this RQ is dumb.

as soon as capcom fixes this issue guys like this will stop playing ranked and brag about their lps.

I still think that capcom left this rq issue in the game intentionally hoping not to upset newcomers. how can capcom forget that there should be a penalty for rq, it’s unbelievable, they are leading the fg market for over two decades ffs.

Then we need to pressure Capcom to reset the leaderboards. 0 LP for everyone sounds fair.
The good players will have no problem climbing up the boards again.

tell that to the ones who legitly pounded days to get plat

From all the platinum players Ive played so far since the release of sfv only a few were rly good but most of them were just horrible at SFV
that’s only 10% who are legit on the platinum ranks
75% of all gold members are not legit and 90% of all platinum players are not legit
even if some of these current platinum players have only RQtted like 3-4 times since the last 4 weeks, they are still frauds

you have to notice that many of these RQtters don’t always RQ, when they lose vs someone else who is high ranked or a well known streamer / popular member of the FGC they will most likely lose fair, but if they lose to an unknown person with 1-2k LP they will RQ or the point loss is too huge.

at the end its capcom’s decision, but with no reset the leaderboards gold-platinum will always stay full of cheaters & frauds,
because once a penalty system gets added all those high ranked RQtters will stop playing ranked, if thats fine for everyone then ok.

But with a reset all legit strong players will end up on top without any problem while all the current frauds will stay at lower ranks

ye, neogeomaster and Xtaxia saying that I RQ all the time in USF4 because those ppl hate me for no reason, neogeomaster has 102 win streak in SFV right now and is a well known RQtter and xtaxia is known for his bad sportsmanship you can follow his youtube comments always stalking me just to post some BS about me.

You do know the SFV server had lag issues after maintenance right? I was also rly angry about all the laggy matches Ive faced so far in SFV, but I am not calling ppl a lag switcher because of server issues
