They should make a command for alt + f4. Every time you use that function you should get penalized. This should teach people how to properly exit the whole game itself. If the game freezes, you can always use task manager to exit or restart your whole computer(these will be a tedious task for rage quitters). I was hoping we’d run into each other again @otter so I could give you some LP back. Glad it happened, although I wish I could have had a run-back since we technically only had one real game.

I’d appreciate if you’d remove match from this thread. I will own up to being a dick but it was a response to what I perceived was you being a dick in the first place. There are people here who can sit on their high horse and sling insults at me but at the end of the day I do a good job of holding my L’s and I don’t deserve to be labeled a rage quitter because of one match.

Oh look, it was the person who was slinging poorly crafted insults me. Like I said earlier, you are by far the saltiest thing I’ve seen in this thread and the fact that this seems to be your home is even more concerning.

At the end of the day someone flipped me the middle finger and then caught me on video giving it back to them. It was a dick move, sure, but calling me a rage quitter implies that I quit out of rage. As I said before, I was amused by doing this. I’m not saying my amusement means I didn’t quit, or makes it right, but I did not rage quit and do not rage quit. None of you fuckers have even attempted to see my side, which you’re entitled to, but then prepare yourselves to keep getting hit over the head with it.

I have given back to @otter though and I certainly owe your salty ass nothing so I’m not sure why you’re concerning yourself with me.

Just had THREE gold ragequitters back to back. This is really infuriating as I want to get the stupid yellow title for my character and drop out of ranked and when I win I get no record of it. Seriously seems like 60% or more gold players quit. One Ken, one Ryu, and one Zangief. Might have to get to recording yet AGAIN. Freaking ridiculous.

That’s exactly like me I played just enough to get the gold title, so I could drop out of ranked until they get the b.s sorted. A lot of players are doing the same thing, only that it takes double the work to get there because of all the rage quitting.

I think most people are doing that, I prefer lounge as it is a much more productive use of time. To be more specific I don’t want the gold title (I already have it), but I want that yellow title with the character’s face on it. I’ve never been a ranked or point person but they force you to get a certain number of wins to attain it. I’m not sure what the number is… 150? 200? Hopefully I’m coming close because this is insane.

How do you get that title? I’m gold and lvl 39 but I still don’t have it. Last character title I got was “Beautifully tingly” at lvl 30.

The fact that you police this place is a big enough indication that your existence is salt fueled and you lack self awareness if you think otherwise.

As I already pointed out before, this thread is effectively useless in terms of actually avoiding rage quitters. You have no choice in who you play in ranked matches. There are a few well known ones that seem to get exposed, sure, but for the most part this place just serves as an outlet for salt. Pretending it’s anything other than that is just another indication of your lack of self awareness.

How is using a critical art in a video game the same as giving the middle finger? It’s not. It’s not the same at all. In fact, those two things are so different that to be frank, I have no idea how anyone could ever or would ever draw any kind of connection whatsoever between two things that are so incredibly different and non-related that I am completely baffled and i’m just staring at my monitor right now just wondering how and why.

It’s a metaphor, Virgil. Someone using their CA to take the last pixel away is them being cute and I perceived it as such so I decided to be cute in my own way. It’s really that simple.
I’m not saying it was a nice thing to do but that is my perspective. If you’re unable to put yourself in my perspective that’s fine but I don’t think it’s difficult: jittery match, opponent finishes with a wink and I gave them a wink in return.
