I have had 6 over the last day but the one I remember is the Ken I just faced named oBeY_GameFreak (Some of the capital letters may be wrong but it looked stupid regardless). He had a 15 win streak so expect him to do it again and is a PC player. Most of them have been Ken players.

I think most of these don’t really deserve to be called rage-quit, as I can’t imagine the chronic quitters sustain genuine rage all the way to the top of the rankings.
I must admit I rage-quit a match a couple nights ago, but it was legit rage–I mashed alt-f4 pretty hard after the match but before the point allocation and then did some tai chi to cool off and find my centre again. This is the first time I’ve been deep into a street fighter game since SSF2 on snes, so I think some of that old brother-fighting rage bubbled to the surface there.

I had a few rage quitters today, but coming on here and seeing the volume of losers rage quitting is proof that MKX was brilliant in one regard…

Rage quitting is how they are at the top. There is only no penalty for disconnecting. A player’s rank, LP, and win streak stay perfectly intact when they disconnect from a game.
Dude, quitting the game early for losing is called a rage quit. Doen’t matter if the dude wasn’t angry at the time and didn’t want to lose points, it’s still a “rage quit”.
And you were just as bad if you alt+f4 because you simply couldn’t take a loss. Hope you understand it simply ruins the entire experience of playing online.
Yeah I realize that. I’m just wondering how much rage has to do with it in most cases. I’m also fascinated by my reaction. I’m an old man who doesn’t normally have anger issues, but I guess street fighter rage is buried deep in my psyche.
NepNepTheBest just had a major ragequit after I broke his 17game winstreak; wasn’t even all that great; I enjoy my losses.
