Damn what a blowup
I had the same issue. I beat a guy with a solid connection (Dong Wan I think was the name?). Got paired against them again and the second i got life lead the connection became unplayable. Their tactics basically became dash in grabs and YOLO jumps which looked liked teleports. Next round was clean connection, I chose to quit midway through r2 because of how suspect it was (this is my only case of quitting). Got paired again and the connection was fine and they beat me fair.
…but yeah, it was reeeeeeeally suspect. I’ve had a few games lost to really convenient moments of lag (like they hit a lag switch to get in for free or to force a lethal combo to drop). I hate to cry foul and overall the online is really good…but sometimes I can’t help but wonder.

Only if you actually finish the match; otherwise ,you get no record of the fight at all.
