I think I kind of understand why many of these casuals are rage quitting…that Gold Trophy yo! can’t get a plat without getting ranked Gold! Gotta rage to get the trophy then who cares right? Gotta be it…because some of these RQers who are god awful proves they don’t even play fighting games at all.
So a FT10 vs someone in Morocco. Ofcoarse you wont ragequit when you got nothing on the line, then there’s the likeliness that most people probably wouldn’t even bother.
I’m honestly inclined to encourage ragequitting. A huge amount of complaints is the only time Capcom feels even slightly inclined to fix something. Hell, people are still having rampant connection issues but they’re too busy trying to make new content for you to buy.
As long as it keeps happening, people will keep complaining. As long as people keep complaining, Capcom is bound to fix the problem. If people weren’t complaining, I guarantee you they wouldn’t have bothered to try and add an anti-ragequit system.

Actually you guys should be happy he and others abused it so much, it’s what forced capcom to address the issue.
It’s like when people said HDR akuma was balanced and Damdai was like no he isn’t, but no one listened so Damdai just started to use akuma to prove it to everyone. And then lo and behold akuma was banned again when people realized.
Not saying this dude should have gotten off, not at all. But if he apologizes after the fact and shapes up his ways… I don’t see the problem.
Now all the other people abusing the shit system capcom made need to be called out as well.
Hanbae needs to be added to this list as well. Rage Quit on me after beating him in a random run back to take away his silver status. I don’t believe replays save on PC if they disconnect, so I don’t have any recorded footage of that unless it secretly does.
