I’m glad to hear you’re not rage quitting. I don’t think I’ve heard of you before this, but it’s good to see some public acknowledgement that what Capcom did was effective to some degree.
While rage quits are frustrating, I’ve never been a hater. You definitely exploit the system to a degree, but you will eventually hit a wall where you can’t win any more and quit every match… So rage quitting doesn’t really help you gain anything you couldn’t have gotten through diligent work. Likewise when people rage quit against me, while I do miss those points… If I’m really as good as I think I am, I’ll get those points anyway 
The bad thing about rage quitting is that it disrupts the community. It costs respect to each other, and when viewed by other fans. Glad you’re on the right side now, and hopefully others are following suit, even if less publicly.

Rage quitting isn’t about some made up points so taking them away isn’t going to solve anything. It is about feeling like you’re a great player with a 99% win rate. You never lose, so you’re a true winner. Here’s an example.
This fucker rage quit on me IN BATTLE LOUNGE. Give me a break. Permanently ban rage quitters.
CFN ID: NatlBushLeague possibly quit on me after a ranked loss. No vid but I do have a photo. No points exchanged.
That being said it looks like the game recorded the win, and handled the points so I could be wrong?
Check your ranked record to see if ragequits went through or not I suppose.
