I know some people on the ragequit list. I thought to myself when I saw their points, “are they actually that good? I don’t remember them being that good.” Turns out they most likely aren’t that good.
Anyway, I saw this video on Reddit of Smash pro Leffen ragequitting then later posting on Twitter about how he has a massive win streak. He seems to have deleted the tweet now, though.

Yeah, been saying this for awhile. Rank system can get annoying. If i win vs a bronze…it’s 5lp…if i lose for whatever reason, smurf account, top player trying rank for the first time, online shenanigans, lag abuse etc. I lose 160+ lp. So the tradeoff is pretty bad. If they beat me i think they EARNED the huge reward. But if i lose i don’t think i should be punished as hard because new rank player does not necessarily mean bad or inexperienced player. So they need to limit how much you lose or give you a minimal of 25lp for the win. I can lose 2 matches, and win 20. And i would barely get anywhere. Then there’s the huge number of raqequiters not giving you the LP you earned to get back what you lost. So sometimes it takes forever to make progress.
Is “brickSWE” the same as “Br1cku”?
I had a list of names of ragequitters (don’t have proof), made it for myself, when I see one of them, I just quit the game in the VS screen. Is that OK? because I don’t want to play with ragequitters and waste my time. Anyways if this is considered wrong, I will suffer and stop.

@SimSimIV agree with that completely, ended up on a 18 win streak last time I played rank because it kept matching me with people I really shouldn’t have been matched with, gaining 5lp VS losing 128lp freaking sucks. Good to see your Sim in action, hope we run into each other online again.
I’ve been ragequit on every game I’ve won today.
I saved gameplay so I’ll go find it in a mib, but most recently was ihatezangeif he has a Canadian flag. Lmao the players in the top are all manipulating their ranks lol losers
@NightsClaw Thanks man - Until Capcom does something about it this is a good way to at least let folks vent, most of the people on the list will probably get off free but there will be a few (we all know the ones) who will get what they deserve.
@oooooo I keep the list open when I play now, if I see someone on the list I’ll probably quit before the match starts, for me it’s just not worth it. Obviously when Capcom introduce something to punish them I will happily play against anyone no matter how much I know they’ve cheated in the past.
