The system still sucks. People will RQ twice or so and then just hold off.
RQers need to lose points(the amount they would have lost anyways) right away and the winner should get points too.
IDGAF about boosting. Tracking the few boosters should be easier than tracking the thousands of RQers.

I’m Silver now with my alt account and the results are the same after rage quitting in 10+ fights. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Not even the 2 hours time out.
It seems that the anti RQ system is even more fucked up after the patch.
Are Capcom developers really that incompetent? Can’t believe this problem is still on the map after six months since the game came out
i quit 51 times with the alt acc for the test yesterday and not one video popped up so far…dang

Previous experience, no punishment if you RQ after the KO screen (did up to 4x)
Today I did get the punishment. This is how.
I changed it up today by RQing BEFORE the K.O. screen.
First Offense: Nothing.
Second Offense: You get the punish.
24 hour lockout & 1000lp subtracted

Very interesting. Also the fact you’re punished on the second offense and not the third one seems nice.
I’m wondering if they just fixed something since the maintenance because @appomo seems to have already tried to do what you did.
And does it mean that the result of the match is updated on the server as soon as the KO screen triggers? If not that could be a very dangerous hole in the system.
Went to my alt account to test it again (this time RQ AFTER the K.O. screen) because, like you said, I might have found a hole in the system.
I repeated yesterday’s protocol: (RQ 1-3 seconds AFTER the K.O. screen), which resulted in no punishment after the 4th time in 30 mins.
Today’s Results:
1st Offense: NOTHING
2nd Offense: NOTHING (started to get a little worried).
3rd Offense: 3x a charm. After I beat this poor Rookie Zangief player and RQ’d my own win, this is what I got when I tried to reboot for a fourth time.
You know you got punished when you try to login to the server and it fails to connect the first time. It’ll give you a menu popup asking if you want to retry to connect or continue offline. When you get to the menu, BAM!!! A big FU from Capcom.

Summary:
- It seems they fixed it somehow between yesterday and today.
- Ranked will be more fun now…or a desolate wasteland.
- You will be punished regardless of whether you RQ before the KO or after.
- It seems to be on the 3rd offense. However that one outlier of getting punished on the 2nd has me confused. I didn’t RQ prior to the start of the test nor got RQ on (my ass was in casuals).
- Punishment = 24 hour lockout and up to -1000LP. If you don’t have 1000 lp, like my alt acct, it’ll just take what you have, which was 209LP.

tested it out now, 3 quits in the vs screen and i got banned finaly.
i hope they fixed it now for everyone. it would suck when its just a general inconsistency in the system.
