I, as I mentioned in the SFV GD thread, would, at this point, settle for a system wherein if a match disconnected that the connection between the two players got marked as “unstable” and they wouldn’t be matched up again.
Until that time I’m in there whooping some fraudulent Bison ass as CFN: WAT-JUST-HAPPEN/PSN: Kazoe00076 was not a big fan on blocking. Nor was he apparently a fan of losing points as the match between he and I conveniently dropped the moment the killing blow landed…twice.

150 points and a streak ending is lenient? Hell for awhile I had to win 6-8 in a row to win 150 points. The time fighting and the time waiting for the fights is pretty much my time a day I can play. So if my internet goes out (which its Comcast, so I do experience occasional outages outside of my control) I lose a rank because my ISP shat on me? No thanks. 150 is plenty. Its a punishment at least. Unlike what we have now. Which is nothing. Im sorry, a slap on the wrist if you do 3 in a span of time.

Eh, at that point you might as well just start going for all their points, considering they’re losing like eight-ten wins off one disconnect, whether intentional or not. Maybe something with an escalating number of points deducted per rage quit within a specific timeframe (say, just the L the first time, L+50 the second, L+100 the third and so on) so the occasional power outage or internet stutter won’t send you careening down the ranks (particularly at high ranks where point gains are hard to come by).
But to be honest, it feels like KI’s double whammy of always taking the loss in terms of points and getting additional punishments tacked on for habitual ragequitting is pretty fine. You will always have salty assholes like LTG who will quit out of principle against “corny, low IQ characters” or whatever, but to be honest, if you’re getting the points anyway you’d probably be more easily able to laugh it off, right? And the ones who do it often (and I think the KI formula of tracking it over the span of one month is a pretty good metric rather than whatever hour span Capcom is currently using) get thrown in jail where they can match up with other ragequitters and disconnect to their heart’s content.
i never put people names up or record any video on players for rq. but this syliouslav taking the price, never before have i seen such a loser. i played him today and rekt his ass again and ofcourse he left, people in gaming dont have any honour or dignity at all these days

I do not want to play against RQers, neither do you, neither does anyone in this thread. What’s the point? It’s a waste of time. I do not want RQers to play SFV. They don’t do anyone any good. Get rid of them all. Take ALL of their points away so they have no reason to play ranked anymore.

ran into this guy, has 9k LP now, I lost one match and beat him twice in ranked => he RQtted both games in ranked ( couldn’t save the replays )
ended up getting automatched vs him again in casuals, beat him 4 times in casuals and he RQtted twice + ended up sending me 5 hatemails

ye his ryu has like 14k+ LP now? he must been RQtting 90% of his matches now ( he prob. did that even before the patch because he plays the most horrible ryu Ive ever seen in SFV ) since match making is finally working and he won’t face bad players anymore except its another platinum or diamond RQtter and there are tons of these -.-
