I’ve had as much as 2850 lp. I’m down to 1870. Most of it is bad play, I eat my losses even if it’s say a bronze that beats me. That being said I think I’ve run into more rage quitters this week than I’ve seen since the launch. I don’t even feel like posting them any more, it’s a waste of time. First match out the gate tonight, some scrub ass ken pulls the plug. It’s not even like his 2200 would of taken a big hit playing a 1900, pulls the plug.
This game has been out since February. I am not like the majority, I love this game. But man this rage quitting nonsense has gotta stop, it’s a major flaw that needs to be addressed before they address anything else.
I was mad at how I lost. If he had bodied me, I would have taken the loss and moved on. It was one of those “Im going to show you how much you really suck” feelings. Even though my play was still below par for me looking back. I did FBA way too much and let his DP hit me way too many times. Thats the only reason I will rematch a lower ranked person.
Ill rematch higher ranked people all day just for my experience. Even if I know I wont win.
Nothing wrong with not accepting the runback. This is an option as valid as any. When I’m doing rankeds, I play for LP. Even when there is no risk of ragequitting, I tend to walk away from high risk/low reward situations. For instance, when I’m fighting someone who ranks lower than me but still has a fair chance of beating me, and I barely manage to beat him in the first match, I usually don’t accept the rematch. I don’t see this as cowardly, it’s just a way to manage your LP’s. When I want to just practice without having to worry, I go for Casuals or Battle Lounge though.
capcom finally figured out a way to figure out any RQtter in SFV and mark them
so the only ppl RQtters will get auto matched vs in ranked and casuals are other RQtters from now on
now that would be like the best penalty system ever lol
I’ve found that literally 90% of the people who rage quit on me are Ken players. He is such a scrub character. I instantly lose respect for anyone who plays with him and assume if I win they will quit. I wish they would change that stupid unique block stun for him. #ventseshcomplete
just joined this guy’s battle lounge lobby,
cheese chao has 13k LP ultra platinum now rofl, he kept mashing for no reason and jumping in
I rekt him and he RQtted in battle lounge so I couldn’t save any replay lol
I’m going to quote a few things CheesyChao said on GameFAQs just to give you guys his mentality of this all. “I don’t RQ for the points. I rage quit because Ryu, Ken, Dhalism and Necalli players don’t deserve my points for playing such scrubby characters.” “They don’t need to fix RQ at all.” “People don’t RQ when they are annoyed. They rage quit because the opponent didn’t deserve the win and to keep their points :)” “I’m in the top 200 in the world. Come back when you’re that high. Then you can insult me.”
lianghubbb i dont know how many times you used the word rekt. but why dont you join a cpt and show us how good you are and you dont need to worry about opponent rq
weeboftheweek is also a known ragequitter. He just ragequit on me is there any way for me to bring up a replay if I wasnt screencapping? I’m a bit annoyed because I faught nearly perfectly the 2nd game and he beat me the 1st game. I win and he ragequits as soon as 2nd rnd ends.
I don’t know why people still bother with ranked anyway. I’ve recently looked at my statistics and the last ranked match I played was on april 12th if I remember correctly. Only played casual since and while there are still some rage quitters on there it’s nowhere near as bad as in ranked.
