why is capcom so retarded? just count the RQ as a LOSS. you got that? a LOSS. no more if ands or buts about it. problem solved and a better solution then a timeout where they keep their points and possibly win streaks. fucking idiots running this game.

I think it’s pretty much a given at this point that whatever netcode or connection system Capcom is using makes it difficult or impossible to tell which side of the connection actually commited the disconnect, otherwise this would never have been such a big problem.
Then what would be the point of rankings? It would just be a very basic level-up system at that point and you would never be able to match people appropriately as everyone would be on top sooner or later.
I enjoy the thrill of “betting” my lp. It makes people play differently than in Casual.
If that is the case, then wouldn’t both ends experience the timeout?
As somebody who spent quite a bit of time in iRacing, if you disconnected in the middle of the race, no matter what the reason, and didn’t reconnect, it’d be no different than crashing out and getting a DNF. Your rating would take a big hit, and that would be that. Suck it up and do better next time. A disconnect should count as a forfeit.
I do agree it does add to the excitement of the matches but the people too worried about losing their points is the reason this is an issue. If you lose a match you just shouldn’t lose any points or a very minimal amount at least. This kinda thing is an issue in other games as well i.e. fps titles. More often than not when the devs got rid of stats like win loss or kill death ratio the number of rq’s and stat padders was drastically reduced. Just my 2cents tho.
how long would it take to reset a player to 0 points? maybe a few seconds?
How about there is someone who works at capcom who takes 10 minutes per day some time to take a look at this topic and reset every single RQtter / upcoming RQtters here?
so these cheaters can work from 0 points again and again until they realize it’s not worth anymore to keep RQtting.
but since capcom is absolutely doing nothing
I feel like an ***** like many other legit players here who keep putting in effort to keep recording and reporting RQtters since the release of SFV.
if capcom can’t add a legit penalty system, they CAN and SHOULD reset all RQtters, there is enough PROOF every day.
Capcom showed us they can reset any players to 0 points without any big effort, so why not keep doing this?

i’m just really wondering what the difference between 4 and 5 is. cause your PP took a dock regardless of reason of disconnect in 4. many a day my comcast went out during a match and my PP’d take a hit…why cant they just do that again?
