that’s sth you can ask more than 75% of all the current gold-platinum players
they don’t belong to their current rank
no matter what your own current rank on the leaderboards is, cut it in half

why does it take so long capcom

I haven’t played Ranked since mid march and I came back today because I thought they would have fixed the RQ problem. I’m not angry, just disappointed.

This is why I play casual matches or battle lounge. I never run into these ranked warriors who value stats over the game itself.

Hmm…there is some legit saltiness going on in rank/casual, but I think I’m done calling people out, well, I only uploaded obvious and frequent ones, but still. Last session I got d/c from 4 matches and when I went back to the home menu it logged me out of the game completely. To my opponent, I’m sure this still looks like a typical 40044 (something like that) error but it’s definitely not me quitting, it happened to me on two wins, and two losses, even in a lobby match against a friend. (I was building momentum and about to come back lol) One match I was about to rank up against a pretty good Necali and it d/c when I was hit confirming, I’m like “rage quitter” but then I see that I’m the one logged out of the server, so he couldn’t have done that from his end?? One match a Zangief stunned me and it d/ced when I was about to lose, I would have done another run back to get my points, he wasn’t that good. So yeah…whatever, I think I’m just done with rank until Capcom puts in a percentage number for disconnects. Theres still no way of knowing when it’s your fault or the server.

Everyone feel free to vent though…No doubt, plenty of people just not wanting to give up points.

Happened to you tonight too? Game froze on me twice mid match, one dude had the balls to call me a “Ragequitting ****” because (even though I was winning) he was mid combo when CFN kicked me.

yea it’s mostly people not wanting to give up points. But sometimes it does happen. I’m not improving playing ranked though, I actually got a small anxiety attack the other day because I finally made it into the 7000’s and then lost in under 10 minutes 500 points because they were weaker players. I was furious, felt like a week of hard work just went into the garbage. Then I played on tilt and had a surprisingly good run with a 22 win streak and got to 7470. After I loss to a mika who got me for 150 I said “this is stupid”. I can’t learn under these conditions lol. So I just grinded a few weaker players and stopped right at 7515. Got a legit platinum and man, was it a pain! Not coming back to rank until I’m confident I can beat the average shennanigans with every character.

nah it’s pretty easy to get into gold. Gold is where you start going back and forth. I’d say most of the player 5k-9k are fairly equal, then you have the legit pros on top.

There’s so many ragequitters in this game it’s mind blowing. It’s the ones that are good players that rage quit that get me. The ones where I really have to work to get the W, and then they take it away. So sad to me. “Like dude, you’re good enough to get legit wins – so why?”

Sucking and rage quitting is one thing, but a lot of good players do it too. Depressing really.

I could careless about points, but I do care about win rate. If the CFN ever actually shows win rate, I want to see my results and this RQing stuff is distorting it I imagine.

I consider myself decent at best, and hardly spend time in practice mode, and I’m up in Ultra Silver with Birdie. That said, it feels like okay people will waffle between Super Silver and Gold, depending on their form/luck. Once you get up to Ultra Silver, even at that point you can lose a good chunk if you have a bad streak.
