I was thrilled when I started getting rage quits for the first time last night, I must not suck so badly now 
Same here. I thought that playing online would mean that everyone would be at least on my level if not higher.
I was dead wrong. My friend and I got tons of ragequits and hate mail the first night. Beating someone with Roll/Dan/Servbot doesnât help matters though.
This ragequitting stuff is getting out of hand. It even gets to where you do really terrible, then start to make a slight comeback and tehy quit.
This is one of the more annoying issues that needs to get addressed. Getting wailed on and still making a comeback happens a lot in this game. They shouldnât be able to ragequit on you and get off scott free if it happens. :annoy:

Come on people, as if HDR and SFIV werenât a big gigantic hint to what was to come with Marvel. Mr. ragequitting powergamer (henceforth to be collectively refered to as âneedledick the bugfuckerâ), whose sole purpose in life is to accululate wins to get XBL achievements and thus extend his e-peen will go away in time, as soon as he gets his precious plink and 200 gamerscore. The rest of us, the real players who give a flying fuck about GS will still be there.

Like others have said who cares, they get a loss and you get a win if they quit.
My favorites are the ones who just start walking backwards into the corner. If you see that either A> Their stick broke, but more likely B> theyâre about the pull da plug!
My way of dealing with ragequitters is to remember that they probably just shut off their console to do it. Which means they gotta spend 4 minutes before they can even play again.
One guy said he did it because it was âfaster that wayâ. So the game needs to put in a 2 minute(?) pause barrier for people that quit. Please!
Learn how to avoid rage quitters. If youâre OCVing somebody and you already have the achievement, stop OCVing them. If theyâre using Jill/Sonson/Capcom-A and down to their last 3/4 of Capcom, switch to your own assist and attack them that way. That way you can buff up your own assist and theyâre less likely to rage quit.
I suspect Iâve avoided at least 30-50 rage quits that way.
A good way to bait a rage quit is to let them pick their squad, and if they picked three bums, pick MSP as fast as humanly possible. Kinda funny to get rage-quitting at the character select screen. Funny thing is, I donât even know how to play MSP.
I say nip them in the bud early or itâll cause great pain later.
I was using Felicia, Iceman and War machine. The other guy picked sentinel, captain commando and i forgot who else. Before the match started i could hear the guy on mic saying âohh look at the pretty kitty.â I beat the shit out his sentinel and he says loudly âBAD KITTY.â I take out his cap com and i hear " You Stupid Fuckin bitch" and on the screen the player has disconnected or quit the game. Come on Felicia deserves a rage quitâŚFelicia?
I got tired of all the quitters so i started submiting player reviews. I know its corny but it makes me feel better.
I got a guy disconnect on the player select screen when I picked Blackheart, Sentinel, and CapCom. At first I thought everyone would wait for you to pick your team so they can counterpickâŚnow theyâre just waiting to rage quit! :rolleyes:
Yeah, itâs hilarious. Iâve gotten tons of rage quits on Omega Red and Marrow. Really guys? Marrow?
Like Preppy said, too, you can kind of get a vibe for the type of player that ragequits. Then you can avoid it by not adding insult to injury with infinites, showy combos, snapbacks, OCVs, etc. If you pick a ârealâ team against someone who sucks/has a crap team, swapping in the main assist to fight with helps. Well, unless that main assist is Sentinel.
I did that on all the HF/HDR ragequitters, mostly so theyâd become avoided players. Shockingly Iâve only had a handful of ragequits in SF4 out of around 1200 matches played online, so I havenât bothered there. But in Marvel, like other people said, you get the win, so meh. I donât bother. Those player reports donât do anything anyway. I find myself hoping I get quitters again. If someone wants to get irrationally pissed off, Iâm happy to help, and Iâll get the win either way.
The only thing that happens when people pull is that it doesnât track your team stats for that match on the tu4ar site.
I havenât gotten that many ragequits, but donât you get the win if you do get quitted on? I remember this guy actually won, but I guess he left too soon because the player left screen came up and then I got 50 win achievement. I think they also get that loss if they quit.

im sure alot you complaining about ragequitters are the same people who normal jump around with sentinel mashing on capcom assist. or running away with blackheart while mashing on capcom. thats not fun especially online trying to get a hit with magneto. i leave these matches and neg-rep these players because there is no point in playing against them. say what you want but if youâre playing santhrax and youâre not going for fastfly combos and youâre getting all of your kills with capcom, youâre a scrub. plain and simple.

Play PLAYER mode not RANKED mode if you want to cry about your specific rules and variations for Marvel.
But: you leaving the matches means they get a win, you get a loss, so whatever. 
theres a difference between zoning and just being horrible. i can tell the difference, im sorry you cant. obviously i know leaving results in a loss, its not worth my time playing against button mashers.

hmmmmm then why did you waste your money in buying the game in the first place for either the 360 or PS3? Since you know so much, Iâm assuming you would have known that a large amount of scrubs and buttons mashers was going to be in this game online. THESE BUTTONS MASHERS/SCRUBS HAVE BEEN APART OF THIS GAME FOR THE LAST FUCKING 10 YEARS OFFLINE :lol: :rolleyes:
So I totally blow at this game and I tried ranked match for the first time today, picked my usual Mag Strider Psylocke team.
Then for the whole round, I just used mag and ROMed two of this guys characters, he quit IMMEDIATELY and msgâed me âBitch ass noobâ hahaha. I just told him âitâs mahvel baybee!!â
Some people these days mang.
Do whatever the hell you want to do, but leaving them negative feedback because they dont play the game the way you want or expect them to is ridiculous.
Plus if youre losing to this tactic(which you obviously are) then you need to re-evaluate the way you play this game.
