Yea it sucks so much. Right now I’m at about 500+ wins with about 20 or so losses and I’m ranked in the 60’s. There are at least 10 people ranked above me that have RQ on me personally. Although I have a feeling that at least half the people ranked above me RQ. Sad thing is that some of those people were actually good but have too big of an ego to take a loss.
I don’t mind too much, but half my losses are from me fucking around or playing with a shitload of lag but i still don’t ragequit on those matches. I figure everyone has their losses where they were fucking around or had lag… but nope, they just RQ.
The thign is, its harder to get a high win ratio now since a lot of the scrubs have given up playing. I get more competition now so it seems like the more i play, the lower I will drop in rank. At one point I was ranked like 40 or so and now I’m just about 70. So the guys with like 300+ wins and 3 losses can pretty much stay in top 30 as long as they don’t play anymore whether they deserve the spot or not.
so this guy pro_mvc2 who is ranked #10 on psn rage quit on me today. I had MSP and he had SSTron. i messaged him saying he was fake top 10 and he said I counter picked him. So i invite him and his fake ass 10 self to a room and beat him first to 10. 10-4. At one point it was close, 6-4 but he’s programmed and I went on a streak to 10.
Sad thing is he was talkin hella shit before we played and even while we were playing. He also tried to counter me to “get me back.” LOL he can block my magz shit, but he’s a sucker for psychic hailstorms. Another assist whore who thinks he’s good. the only times he won was when he got lucky with a dumbass tag or caught my assist with HSFx39084 because my sj didnt come out.
I hear ya, I can see how that would annoy people, especially if they don’t know about mags, but sometimes that same skipping/lag messes up my combos or tri’s. The worst is against a good Cable player, where when they do another AHVB and I know I’m still blocking from the first AHVB my main will get hit by the second:tdown: The lag is worst in a full lobby with a couple people chiming in, but when it’s 3 players only and no talking it’s not bad at all.
But I’ve adopted the same “go for the kill” mentality, it’s the only way to get better and I should play to win, so I’ll keep mashing short short psy assist and continue with basic resets
Someone invited me to some games and had two of his friends in the room. I usually play with the sound off and I kept seeing the little voice indicator on the screen. Turns on one of the dudes kept talking shit bout my team, Rogue/Cyke/Tron, being bull shit and how he’s fucked me up in ranked matches.
Long story short, I blazed through these dudes 16 - 0, plugged in my mic and told him to get over it if he can’t beat me with MSP or Santhrax or team scrub. And then he ragequitted, in a player match.
rog/cyc/tron is bs! :annoy: well, if playing against with low tier…but if the person is playin a top/god tier team, they need to stfu.
i always just go for the kill, hardly any resets. that’s the main gameplan of mag/im anyway, so I tend to stay true to how I’d normally play.
but then you have these people who abuse (or learn to abuse) the lag and think they sweet just because they can get in or get a hit and do constant triangle jumps/crossovers every which way causing max teleportation. lol, they clearly have to much skill. or the ones who go for the cable unblockable lol. it’s funny when you can clearly see that they have figured out this bs works and then their playstyle totally changes.
lol! i just think thats funny, because its just to funny to me to see someone pick one of the main top tier teams, and i scrape them with low. i have ocv’d so many teams with rogue rush down, and not even using tbonne (cause she is such uber rape), that its ridiculous. i see these dudes, yeah they know the unblockables, or a slight keep away, and they think sent is automatic win and for some reason they dont understand to unfly sometimes. when people are playing mid/low tiers, and i scrape them, and then they pick a diesel team to TRY to beat me, and they lose, i sometimes message them to be an asshole. stick to your mid/lows and get them better. but eh, whatever. i take L’s, and most of them are from msp’s, because mags is bullshit online, and 98 percent of the people online cannot play team scrub or santhrax. their sents are just horrible, and i rush them down with rogue all day. the guys that give me the most issues are mid/high mixers, because they usually have a good idea of team synergy, and know how to use their characters. im like argh! tricks! lol. they kill me so bad sometimes
stupid ragequitters there’s just no limit to these fags about 75% of the people that play on ranked matches always ragequit shit is pissing me off :annoy: . Not to mention most of the time they quit on you it completely freezes your xbox 360 so you have to manually shut it down and turn it back on
That’s not lag, that’s the preblock bug wherein you have to already be in a blockable/blocking state previous to the AHVB. You probably reverted to neutral or did some other cancellable option (NJ/SJ block cancel?) which didn’t work because of the bug here.
AHVB hitting when it shouldn’t is not lag, it’s a bug.
I’ve noticed that, when I’m dashing, jumping (normal or high) or anything to where I’m not already blocking, an AHVB will hit. It’s like it has the same properties of Jugg’s headcrush or Thanos’ soul drain now. I thought it was the game not recognizing me switching to block fast via the network, didn’t know it was a bug, ANOTHER advantage Cable now has :wow:
Only time quitting gets on my nerves is when the game is stuck trying to load the leaderboard, then I have to exit and restart the game:lame: But I average 5+ quits every session now:xeye:
Rage quitting is horrible b/c it cuts down on the amount of time I get to play. Like DeadShot said, having to restart after a ragequit fuckinig BLOWS! :lame:
I used to submit negative reviews when I got ragequits in ranked SF2HDR matches but I stopped after a while cause it got a bit pointless to do.
That and I played Worms 2 online Ranked. Nothing like playing a match for over 20 minutes and when you’re about to kill the last worm the fucker decides to quit. And it doesn’t give you a win for it either.
Anyways I pretty much just play Player matches now.
Avoid this player isn’t very effective, I’ve played avoided players over again sometimes like 3 or 4 times in a row.
L33tPirate is espeically annoying to play since he quits at the selection screen and makes the system freeze. And I ALWAYS get this jackass. I even told him to put me on avoid too if he really feels that bad about playing me.
LoL people rage quit on my and I’m not even good I got stuff like don’t cheese. People get frustrated against me in friendlies also they end up switching teams and picking my characters.
