Thank you for the order! I got the buttons from a local electronics spot, but they can be found online as well with some variations… Search for 12mm momentary push button and you should get a slew of options (The hole size is 12mm, the flange on the ones pictured is 16mm). As for the USB port, search for Neutrik NAUSB-W (Lots of retailers, including Focus Attack). There are different types, I’d get the a metal flanged one in black or silver.
I’ll email you during the fab process to confirm all the necessary details.
I just wanted to update everyone in this thread that I got both of my stick cases from @anUnreasonableWizard and I was pleased with quality of his work and the short time he was able to get the sticks to me. He did it so quickly I have just barely ordered the arcade parts when he sent me confirmation of shipment.
I have some new updates to share with all of you… First of all, just like SRK Forums moving, I moved my shop to a new location and secondly, I had some new RAGE Pad exclusive matching dustwashers mobbed up!
I have a lot of projects in the works right now with a large focus towards The RAGE Pad and its expansion. I’m working to make some big waves in the community, starting locally here in Salt Lake City, bringing all-new, ultra-fresh style and vibes to the scene! Eventually, those waves will grow to a worldwide stage and maybe beyond ha…! Thank you all for the energy and positivity in helping me raise the level to where it is now. RAGE!
I’ve been busy! Here are a few shots from an event I hosted last week. Custom built a performer/DJ/Arcade booth with a 32" monitor on the front. I also custom built a pair of RAGE pedestals complete with drink and shot holders! The pedestals feature a unique inlay that seats the RAGE Pad in it perfectly! I also discovered that black light creates a stunning glow with the acrylic I use… The event featured some local SLC talent with electronic artists RX64, Epoch Strata, and Binary Synthetica. I also performed a live freestyle flow set with my MobStar Series of Wizard Weaponry. The event is leading to more live shows around town at dance and club venues with a new series of events I will be creating with my team dubbed “Arcade Mixers”. I had Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix for PS3 on tap and the gameplay and involvement from all the people who came out was a success! Actually, the two gals pictured played like 30+ matches each!
I also had my Sega Genesis wired up with Streets of Rage 3 in the slot! I didn’t get any in action pics, but people were fuckin jammin on it! Overall, I am sharing these updates with all of you so you can see what I am doing here in Salt Lake City and what I intend to do once the world opens up… Thanks for checking them out!
I really love the neon look to this. If I was gonna give feedback - that carrying handle doesn’t look comfortable enough to restrict the internals/layout available to you - I’d definitely consider the benefits of making an oblong model without the handle, and fitting it with something like a guitar strap for the portability. I’d also suggest commissioning some 90s aesthetic art to go under there as an optional extra - not that the logo is bad, but those sticks were made to go with some outlandish 90s art. Maybe fit a light pipe from the innards? I love these so much I almost feel bad to critique them.
The handle is straight CUSH! Serious. Everyone that has had the opportunity loves it. I get what you mean though and that is why I have a “Magnum” version in mind and on deck soon. As for the artwork, I have a few concepts being worked on to better suit the style. Thanks for the input and energy!
Any update on this dude, I’m going to visit US this year and I’d like to bring back a rage pad, i was also looking for a hitbox layout acrylic, happy to hear from u.
