Maybe I had the wrong impression going in(expected more action, less drama), but I really started hating the characters after the first few episodes.
Until we get a life action telling of the original arc, coupled with Escape From New York, everything else can go eat a dick.

You could say Ion Storm had two quick fall-offs.
There was hype buildup for their studio “OMG WE GOT BADASSES JOHN ROMERO TOM HALL MIKE WILSON WE ROCK STARS”, and then Dominion: Storm Over Gift 3 came out in their label. That’s an early 1998 blow before their most infamous one you all know of (Daikatana)
Just after the Daikatana fallout they managed to recover, there’s also the releases of the brilliant Deus Ex and Anachronox, only followed up by… whatever the hell that second Deus Ex game is supposed to be.
and then they ceased to exist shortly afterward.
God damnit, I was gonna say this. That first episode was godlike. After that? Shit, shit, shit, and more shit. Eff that over hyped crap.

My guess (hope) is that we look back in the year 2099 for the new season, which might be a reality show, we say that the first 2 season had a lot of cool zombie death and were useful in building the main characters.

While it’s not terrible I’ll say the new Thundercats show. The premiere episode was absolutely amazing. After that the series took a dip in quality. Many of the episodes were bluntly designed to teach Lion-O the obvious lesson, characterization were inconsistent at times, outside of Panthero the rest of the cast were glorified background characters. I wanted a episode that would focus on Tygra but it never came. At least he took Lion-O’s girl. I hope it gets better when Season 2 premiere’s his Saturday.
