My team is Morrigan on point/Iron Man (Repulsor Blast)/Mag (EM Disruptor) and MANNNNN is that shit Godlike. They can zone you for days and then when people get pissed from getting zoned and finally get in you can use their frustration to land mad mixups with Morrigan and that should be a dead character. Call IM assist and activate Astral Vision just before the next character comes in and then throw a H soul fist into fly cancel for fireball lock down until you can call Mag assist. THe team is very flexible and I’ve been beasting with it online.
Will M.Shadow Blade -> Finishing Shower work as a good in your face anti-air? I’ve been struggling lately looking for a good one and her normals can’t seem to cut it so I just adv. guard then rush down with j.S/H.
tack on to a previous combo with the shower, just to show that morrigan CAN kill non pixies without x factor (…just takes 4 bars of super, corner, and a non-prorated starter)

Sweet, I didn’t know this. Thanks. This just makes Morrigan’s zoning game even better. If you’re trying to zone out someone like Ryu with Soul Fists barrage and he tries to pull off a shinku hadoken to plow through it all, you can use SS on reaction to counter it! You just have to make sure that Morrigan is on the ground for that to work though, which may not be guaranteed if she’s doing fly and unfly cancels constantly.
Is it considered cheap to turn on illusion, then surround ur opponent and mash crouch quick attacks until they die or ur mirror goes away?

When I do the Shadowblade cancel into FS in the air, my opponent is super high in the air and I only get like 7 hits off of missiles. How are you guys doing it such that they are right in front of you when the super starts?
Are you using Shadow Blade?
Are you holding up during the super so that the missiles go upwards?
And if you’re using :h: Shadow Blade, are you cancelling the very last hit of the Shadow Blade?
Yes to medium, no to holding up. But still, they seem really high to me. Those Tragic vids have the opponent almost directly in front.
Then the problem is that you cancel Shadow Blade a little bit too late.
Shadow Blade does 3 hits total. You’ll want to cancel into FS after the 2nd hit.
Just do the FS inputs as soon as you do the Shadow Blade.

Characters with average to above average health helps maintaining the balance in the team since Morrigan’s health is below average.
Characters that needs meter (if you’re using her Dark Harmonizer assist).
