The Power of Nothingness (無の拳 Mu no Ken, “Fist of Nothingness”) or (無の波動 Mu no Hadō)?
Such argument is due to the fact I’ve noticed while watching (for the 4th time) Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, at the time Gouken asks his students to describe their sensation of the Ki (Chi) flow, he (Akira Koieyama) refers to Mu no Hadō instead of Mu no Ken. But on games and wiki I’ve seen the widely known Mu No Ken.
I mean if you have the power you can use it with your fists, right? So guess it’s kinda the same? Power of Nothingness never made much sense in english anyway but I figured it had to be something that is hard to translate literally.
edit: from your line of thought wouldn’t “Chikara no Hadō” be wave of power instead and “Mu no Chikara” power of nothingness then?

Totally right Djove, I realized the mistake of my last sentence on my trip to the store to get a watermelon (Don’t ask) LOL.
‘‘Mu no Chikara (無の力?)’’ would fit if the meaning of those Kanji are well interpreted, wish there’s someone with a solid knowledge of Japanese language to tell us if this even makes any sense. Overall I might be trying to interpret the Kanji very literal, idk.
I have a feeling “Power of Nothingness” is an embellished fictionalized name deriving from one group’s interpretation of the whole concept rather than finding a translation of the name.
