Looks like I’m right. Super armor during the animation itself, and he takes less damage with it on.
I want to know if Red Chi increases meter gain. It’s based on damage, so would doing more damage = more meter in this case? If so, his meter powerup would be pretty useless.
Much appreciated, man. I’m trying to find the game early so if I can find it, I’ll try it out immediately. Otherwise it’ll probably be one of the basic corner bnbs that I try to learn at first.
And just outta curiosity, on like the second command, the “B.C” is what exactly? >_> Sorry…
b+C = two handed palm
f+C = jump cancellable up kick
maybe people will now understand that IF isn’t meant to be doing aircombos, but jump cancellable combos, unless he doesn’t have a better option. whats funny about that combo is that the last hit before the level 3 (wall of k’un lun?) produces a hard knockdown, so he could probably eek out a bit more hits and damage with assist, crescent heel, whatever. armor on chi was displayed in his reveal vids, but we only thought it was defense chi, not all three of them.:xeye: thats gonna be really fun squeezing those inbetween moves to have nasty surprises waiting for your opponent. maybe the meter gain chi will allow him to build more meter when he gets hit in addition to when he hits you.
Yes, but you have to follow up with something that has enough hit stun and range like QCB.M, QCB.H or even reverse those to keep them there. I could sorta do the other ones but the dummy recovers a bit too quick (I have no other settings on them aside from “Auto Guard”).
I think the rekkas are pretty unique in setting up stuff so far. I can think up of a few things but my execution is off at the moment. I’ll try to put up a some clips over the weekend.
Not bad, I wonder(hope) the armor on the chi turns out to be a useful and not just a gimmick of sorts. Overall I definitely have my eye on iron fist, might run iron fist/akuma/someone, he looks like he might be a good battery. A little surprised at his health though, looked like he would have a mill at least.
I’ve jsut read over at eventhubs Justin Wong’s take some of the characters in Ultimate. He thinks IF will difficult to win with and yet we saw him own with him in the MAx vid. Granted I’m sure he is int he Lab working on his team as we speak or thereabouts.
