His assist has invul frames and wallbounces? I guess thats good to hear, I hope it isn’t as spammable or brain dead as haggar cause that would kinda suck if i had to deal with another version of the haggar assist.

I was hoping that Max would confirm if/how Iron Fist’s blue Chi power up could absorb projectiles. AFAIK we saw it in one trailer and that was all that we have seen of it.
Couldn’t agree more. Def making a team with strider + iron fist, maybe striders teleport assist can help keep people on the floor for iron fist, and iron fists assist can help anyone.

Well, we still have questions obviously. I guess it’s time to bust out a camera in preparation of making a video response or two.
I got one answer, that the Dragon Kick Assist wall bounces, meaning Nova will get some use out of it. What I was disappointed about was the damage, or lack thereof, I know he was hitting Thor but I was expecting bigger chunks of damage. Iron Fist is definitely gonna need some assist help.
It’s really too bad that he can’t do the Dragon Kick outside of a chain because it’s looking like he has no viable AA now. Whatever, that’s what assists are for! Seeing “Assist Me!” today got me filled with so much hype for him.
It sounds like he’ll need either Dante or Doom, maybe Hawkeye would work?
Hawkeye does have vertical arrows as an assist that will force the opponent to block. I haven’t actually seen them hit anyone on the way up before, but certainly I’d expect them to. Also, since they are all clustered together, they don’t track like Hidden Missiles. It’s one spot, take it or leave it.
I wonder if he will have some decent AA normals, and if he can combo off a throw
strider/ironfist is what im thinking too, an the tele kick to keep em locked down for 1 second and then wavedash in with ironfist is what im thinking as well haha. ima try ironfist/dante/strider first

I’m personally curious about the chi power ups.
How much of an increase do they give, is the increase the same for all power ups and (unlikely) do they stack.
also does the move have any projectile durability, perhaps explain that we saw it eat a projectile in an early build
