What I like the most about it is that he not just have a huge combo variation potential but it all seems to flow naturally, you just go to the next rekka in order to open up the opponent or extend your combo since you can’t rely on launcher, so he will be a very nice character to see, and very fun to play.
Not like Wesker >_>
If I didn’t loved RE5 Wesker I would have dropped him.
But I really think I’ll end up using Iron Fist/Strider/Doom(or Nova) much more than my main team.
Actually I don’t like the character at all, when I first saw him I was like “Sweet, he’s not like Marvel 2 so I don’t have to play him again”, but then people started learning him and I fell in love again.
In a previous life I actually helped make the suggestions that got some of the current ones made… but, well… mistakes were made and I don’t particularly wanna draw attention to myself to ask
well there’s a timestamp on it, so it goes right to the precise spot. Capcom is working with IPW next Tuesday to do an invite UMvC3 single elim tournament.
Is it possible to do low rekka low rekka or overhead rekka overhead rekka? He seems like a wesker easy character to pick up. How’s good is his dragon kick? He seems to do a hell of alot of damage with the power up.
He’s not Wesker easy at all because you can’t just do the same chain either on hit or block, and you gotta hit confirm your strings to see if the oponent is grounded or not, and then decide what you’re gonna do.
He may be as good as Wesker (god I hope so) but easy? I don’t think so.
He doesn’t have a beam that cancels into tekeport and goes into a full combo.
He probably won’t have godlike resets.
He doesn’t have a teleport.
He doesn’t have a 1 frame command grab that leads to a full combo anywhere on the screen.
He doesn’t have a counter super to negate mixups.
He has no mobility in the air.
He has no specials in midair
Really, he won’t be as good as Wesker.
I think he’ll be good, but not THAT good.
its worth noting that the comments above confirmed one of the things I thought I saw, which is the :f::h: command normal (high kick), which I know I saw is also jump cancellable.
Now of course I’m worried that that kick is what we saw all along and that :hk: isn’t jump cancellable, which would suck.
