Nah I don’t think so, it looks like thats his design, he reminds me of spencer in some regards, I think he might have a tough time getting in and maybe even opening up your opponent as well but once he gets that hit in he can kill most of the more popular characters with a single touch. I also think he will be like spencer in terms of popularity, not a lot of people using him but that one dude who does work with him at tournaments.

I don’t know why everyone’s so shocked that IF can do 900K with 1 meter. The dude was dealing like 700K with no meter in some of those match vids.
Considering the low health and or high damage of UMVC3 this shouldn’t be a surprise. I’d be surprised if he did 1 mil with 1 meter but not like it’s necessary anymore with everyone’s health dropping.
whats great about it is that there are a number of obvious combo extensions that haven’t even been tried yet and the damage is already there (something like high>touch>launch>otg>low>upkicks>low>high>wallbounce>high>palm>hyper, just as a random example.)
I don’t see what the big deal is, Hulk has 900k 1 meter combos and Fist wont have armor. Given Danny’s mobility, that damage makes sense to me.
People at eurogamer are having a pretty negative response to IF so far, altho they don’t seem to have some of hte knowledge we’ve been collecting either
