A-Cho Ranbat.Guy player shows you can connect TC after cr.fierce on Makoto(I assume this will work on all characters at nearly all ranges now).Pretty damn sick but otherwise not much else,the Guy player isnt that amazing.

crHp, target combo into Run Slide or EX Hozanto can be done on Makoto in the current edition. Also can be done on Juri, Chun Li, Dee Jay, Cammy, T.Hawk, Guy, Dudley, Sagat.

^In all seriousness though,Elbow trades with Lariat most of the time for a free EX green hand juggle.That Gief kept doing SPD over and over for some reason.
I think he didn’t know wtf to do :), so why not keep mashing lariats and spd’s…so I was kinda like playing with him.
I really like the FF chain > corner throw > empty jump into c.lk did in Round 2 here. Nice setup.

Good god,someone help me out in this matchup.I’ve been getting owned by Rose recently.
Its funny because she seems to have everything guy has.Her ambiguous crossups and safe pressure seem far better than Guys.The fact that Rose is at frame advantage after certain drills completely mindfucks me(although this didnt happen in this match).
See your pressure is nice, usage of st mk is also good, should try to use cr.mp it has some succession in that match. You’re biggest mistake was the cross up after the knockdown, Unfortunately as all of us are aware Sim and Rose have that weird hitbox where you cant hit them on cross up without them waking up or in the corner. Problem is the timing for it on wake up isn’t very lenient and since you missed it cost you the match so don’t always go for the cross up try to 50/50 with Elbow to scare them. In the first round when Rose activated Ultra and you were the corner. She threw a soul spark, Now if you were to have reacted to you would have 2-3 options, Dash in MK tatsu(may have been able to get a hit), MP Hozanto cause I’m sure you would have hit her before the orb made another pass, or Run Overhead/Slide… EX for safety or if you were using slide.

Rose is just unfair for Guy at the moment. In AE will the 3 frame short be able to catch her before the backdash she does after the drill? I think Guy’s super works in this situation, but how often do you get super in a Rose match anyway.
Also, interested to see what this tutorial is gonna be like.
