damn that was a solid guy. any one ever heard of him before? i’d like to see more matches from him. he played really smart. i wish people would actually block like that instead of trying to reversal through block strings or jab through them… it makes matches look so much better when people block.

Keep in mind, I don’t have half of Guy’s tools, and I drop combos all the time, and throw out unsafe bullshit, but I still won and I felt on top of the world to get two wins on stream for my first big tournament.
I feel your pain when it comes to dropping things and unsafe stuff. It kept happening to me and K1 in our fights haha, I wish I could practice at least everyday. 
Yeah, my big problem though is all of my knowledge is OTJ, I haven’t really done the academic study of coming here and looking at what works and what doesn’t, how to properly punish, etc.
I’ll look to fix that in the future though.
Most punishes usually consist of FF Chain, TC, EX Hozanto or Runslide.
In some caes TK Izuna or EX Tatsu.
i wasnt really dropping much with Guy though…some of my other characters, yes. Guy, not so much…

I was just practicing this reset mixup last night and so be I managed to pull off today in a ranked match.
I searched the Levelup ustream archive and the Level Up youtube but nothing 
Oh nice,getting creative with the reset,I’ve never seen someone use the elbow before.So Guy has like 6 or so good options off of a reset?
I’m still waiting for a true verdict on the bushin chain>throw resets though.When I see successful resets used against people who actually know the Guy matchup and know how to defend against bushin flips,in high level play,then I’ll be happy with this ‘gimmick’.I’m loving the resets I see people using at the moment though,feels good to fuck people up with Guy!
