I’m just starting to pick up Guy and seeing what you guys are posting although it is a bit saddening I’m not giving him up. Even if they don’t fix him he is still a solid character. DON’T GIVE UP peeps the power of Bushin has no limits:nunchuck:

dreadz- not bad… just a few small things i’d say. after cody’s ex zonk… you can get a full ff chain on block. i saw you went for his target combo instead. also… more than just his ex zonk can be hit by a full ff chain. regular zonk knuckles can be punished by ff chain. as long as he’s not doing it from max distance… you can punish it on block with a full ff chain. as long as he’s doing them from up close. you’d be surprised by how far away cody can be and the full chain will still work. also… if he’s a little further… st. strong xx run slide works too. it has to be pretty fast… but it’s not difficult.

also… get used to hit confirming if an opponent is standing. you landed a jump in in the 2nd round and went cr. jab x2, target combo. if you get used to hit confirming on a standing opponent… you can link the cr. jabs to ff chain for a lot more damage. but all in all …not bad.

edit: in response to what ActualProof said. like he said… it’s not that he can get grabbed during hit stun. it’s that… in my opinion i think that’s a pretty big glitch. it just proves that guy was pretty rushed and possibly overlooked in general. testing wasn’t properly done on him. and it might not be just him. super in general might’ve been rushed and if something like that was found in a week and a half of it’s official release. there could be tons more bugs.

I meant the other way around. Like I noticed you didn’t do Blanka’s EX Vert. Roll. Does that mean that it beat out EX Izuna in your testing?

EX Vert roll beats it, regular roll doesn’t.

If an EX reversal lost to guys ex throw i put it in the video, the regular reversal moves that dont beat it i put it in (Example: Ryu Ken Seth Akuma, all regular dps get beat by ex izuna, if they ex dp however, they have a few more frames of invul, and it beats ex izuna.)

just clarifying that you can punish with the whole thing. when you try it out for yourself against a blocked zonk knuckle, you’ll be surprised at how far away cody is and the whole thing will still come out. sorry if there was confusion.

it’s the 4 hit target combo (aka bushin chain). i think the “ff” stands for final fight.

People really seem to like that target combo into run xx stop. I’ll have to try it out. I kept using run xx slide when I was midscreen.
