Cop ran over like 20 people because he felt threatened while responding to some street racer/Tokyo drift shit. Bystanders impeded his progress so he kinda just mowed them down.
Which inevitably led to rioting.
Idk what the pacific northwest is going to do to diffuse these situations because there is an extremely strong anti police sentiment out there thatâs bordering on irreparable

Feel like that cop could have backed up and taken a different route maybe. Itâs hard to tell from the video if thereâs an obstruction behind the vehicle or what.
Still, I wish people would stop trying to block vehicles like that. The cop being wrong to run people over doesnât mean youâre right to stay standing in front of a vehicle thatâs obviously revving up.
Either way, my sister, bro in law, and niece live in Tacoma, so hopefully shit doesntâ go berserk out there.

Anyone is going to antsy in that type of situation. They get a door open or break a window the driver is at the mercy of a mob. Hell yeah theyâre gonna peddle to the metal.

Yea he probably had other options for sure. Coulda waited for back up or drove forward slowly or reversed.
That said itâs still super dumb to impede police. Not saying they deserved to get mowed down but they definitely placed themselves in harms way

But yeah, there probably arenât 100% correct catch all solutions. Iâm just saying thereâs probably better ways to handle things than backing up 5 feet to get a running start and then gunning it. Especially considering they were responding to a non life saving type of emergency.
I agree the people gotta get the fuck out the way tho. Thatâs why Iâm just really curious as to how this gets fixed because the police and the public and the political groups are caught in a violence vortex where theyâre all feeding off each other

Given what I know about the Tacoma incident, the police officer was in the wrong to run those people over, as he probably had more options to exhaust before being able to say he was scared for his life. The people blocking his video were in the wrong for impeding a police investigation; like they didnât need to do that if the cop wasnât doing anything wrong. Really stupid situation all around.

What? I will say it. The rioters are mostly white people going crazy and doing this because they donât feel like the rules apply to them. And because there is distinctly 2 americas people will never agree.
