If there’s one thing Mitch McConnel is good at, as much as I hate him for it, is politics. The guy is 3000 years old and has been involved in politics for almost all his life. Trump is gone and has no more power; McConnel has no more use for Trump. Let’s not forget either that Trump caused the GOP to lose the presidency, the House, and the Senate. Here’s hoping we never hear from Trump again.

I apologize to all the whites of srk who i offended with my words. I was going this trial being treated with racism and bigotry by management at the va. After the hearing i won.
It was a stressful time and i apologize by taking it out on some people.

It is when the same politicians who vote to defund/disband then stick the taxpayers with the bill for the private security they retain for themselves because they “don’t feel safe” like they did in minneapolis.
The political class in this country thinks they’re above the rest of us, and that’s yet another example.
He is. One of my friends used to write with him ages ago and they still keep in touch here and there despite them each going their separate ways. Garth even hooked like 8 of us up with free tickets and great seats to one of his Nashville shows at the end of 2018. We paid and then at the last minute he was like, “Nah, merry Christmas.”
Truth be told, a lot of country stars are actually democrats. Even Toby Keith was, at least at one point.

Defund the police is more giving programs that are actually specialized in x, y, and z more money so police don’t have to spread their physical resources thin and things cops are simply not trained to handle.
Which yes, would cut their budget but you’d see a lot of situations that cops aren’t able to handle or shouldn’t handle go down drastically. Not at first but over time, absolutely.
Also, state PD’s shouldn’t have the annual budget worth a 3rd world country. That’s fucking insane. We shouldn’t have PD’s that have the artillery and resources we saw during the BLM rallies either. Locals having that much in their armory is horrifying to me.
Not to mention the criteria for hiring police needs to be astronomically hire. There’s countless media reports of corruption and covering up for other cops despite them clearly breaking the law or worse. That shit needs to stop. If a kid is going to he held accountable for stealing a pack of gum than a grown ass man needs to he held accountable for covering up shooting someone.
Lastly, weed out all the fucking racists. That has nothing with defunding them. They just need to get the fuck out
