I don’t have it but I’m sure it’ll take a little while before the really amazing stuff gets made. Personally I’m going to wait for a year or two before I get it. Hoping that’s enough time to see some really interesting stuff

I still have my GCN version of Tricky. SSX was my first PS2 game, too though. I wish they would have implemented a proper multiplayer in the reboot in 2012. That franchise should still be a thing.

Tekken Tag 1 .
I bought it and then gave it to my cousin as a gift so that I could play it .
I was still in my Dreamcast enjoyment so I couldn’t get another system so lol.

I think my favorite PS2 game was Red Dead Revolver. It actually had music from Ennio Morricone.
Edit: And yeah, I know it was multi-platform. But I had it for PlayStation.

Twisted Metal Black was my first PS2 game and as someone who spent a lot of time playing 2 & 4, that game was a whole new level.
Getting DMC was a game changer though. I remember playing the demo on a buddy’s PS2 before I got mine and today solidified my decision to buy one.

Capcom’s Chaos Legion! A stylish and fun as hell but, often brutal beat’em up, with cool monsters you could equip. Played the hell out of that one!
Only gripe about that one is the music could have been better.

Never got around to Chaos Legion, i think it came out around the time DMC2 dropped. Needless to say I chose POORLY between which to get
DMC2 was a ‘decent’ game. I remember the enemy’s being a bit too easy though. These giant demon tanks rolling up and you think you’re in for a Fight but… they just sit there and let you shotgun them to death.
On the subject of PS2 memories, PS2’s Shinobi! Tough as balls but fun as hell. It’s sequel, Nightshade, was great too.
