The core Shmups made by the creator of Touhou, Zun. They have to have beeen created by someone, they can’t all be fangames.
The numbered Touhou games that are vert scrolling shmups are the “real” Touhou games. They cam be experimental like one where you take pictures of bullet patterns to dodge them, or the one inspired by Twinkle Star Sprites but in general are straight forward Vert Scrolling shmups with a score gimmick.
This is a real Touhou game. It was deved by the creator of Touhou, Zun, a one man development “team” named Shanghai Alice. He’s on Touhou 16 I believe.
The only official Touhou games that aren’t made by Zun are the fighting games like Immaterial and Missing Power and Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. Those where deved by French Bread.
Yea you pretty much only buy them physically at Comiket or whatever. You can get them on eBay and shit to but they are super expensive that way. Not paying a scalper when I’m trying to give the creator my money. Defeats the point I feel, especially since I already own them all. I’m trying to take off the pirate hat in this instance.

What else they are going to use other than x86 architecture CPU from AMD?
Probilly a Ryzen Multi-core CPU with Hyperthreading, on par with let is say a 2nd Gen Ryzen 5.
Adding anything to that that isn’t standard, something exotic would be stupid. In this era usual or exotic hardware means that programers have a hard time coding for it.
I am 99.9999989% sure the PS5 is PS4 backwards compatible as its the same x86 architecture.
And if they manage to just bring back PS1 and PS2 compatibility I would be stoked, PS3 along with all that would make it a killer against the Xbox.
