Prototypical White Woman ass.

Think about it.

Thing is, I like this for the best of all the tangential reasons.

It lowers the price of lower capacity Pros.

…which in turn makes it cheaper to rig a Pro with an SSD, and have the kind of kit I actually want.

Fuck, I hope that’s not as bad a sign as I think it is

I asked this in the Viddeo Games thread, but got no response, and perhaps it would be a question better posed in here:

Which SSD(s) do y’all recommend to install inside of a PS4 Pro?

PS5 and PC only, you think?

Well that link says only PS4 right now but yeah I have no idea. Still not even sure what the game is, though I get the feeling it’s a turn based strategy game. Whatever it is, I just want to play it, I know they make good games

You want at least 1TB if not 2TB, there little point getting a 500GB SSD
Problem would be the larger sized SSDs aren’t Cheap

I would stick to recognizable brands , Western Digital, Segate, Samsung, Crucial ect.

At each tier balancing price and performance

1TB SSD
Mushkin REACTOR 1TB $160

Hybrid HDD/SDD (1TB) Its also mentioned on Geese Pants’ link
Seagate 2TB FireCuda $100
To be fair I would put this drive into a PS4 or maybe a Laptop but not a Desktop PC.

Problem with a Hybrid HDD/SDD Drive is only the most accessed files will be on the flash memory, so except for about the most used 8GB of data, everything else will be at HDD 5400rpm speeds.
I honestly think you be better off with a 2TB HDD than a 1TB Hybrid drive for the cost per performance ratio.

2TB SSD (Cheap end)
Mushkin 2TB $300
Western Digital Blue 3D NAND $330

2TB SSD (High End)
Samsung 860 EVO 2TB $350
Crucial MX300 2TB $440

2TB HDD Recommendation (this is what I put into my Laptop).
Western Digital Blue 2TB PC 2.5" Hard Drive $75

Best Buy has the 1TB Samsung, so I think I’ll do that.

Can’t go back to those physical load times.
