I recently bought Vampire Hunter D for PSX
Shit’s fun yo.
YESSS… YESSS!!! This game was my childhood!
This game had a few gems in terms of songs.

I just realized, if both players knew all the high scoring combos and got everything correctly, wouldn’t every match be a draw? I didn’t know much of the games mechanics, playing it before my pre-teen years.
Damn am I the only one who played Arc the Lad?
in all honesty, hwang has ALWAYS been a secret character, he wasn’t in the original version of soul edge in the arcade
CrimsonARIA
you could do attacks in the game too
HALF BREED
completed arc 1 last month. don’t know when im gonna start arc 2 but im looking forward to it
i found my copy of um jammer lammy the other day, along with Xenogears.
I am not sure where, but Xenogears is on my top 3 all time list for sure
Put Mvc1 ps1 in you’re ps2 and play the disk on faster speed from that ps2 menu. Then watch all the game music play too fast.
Not true. All 3 Vs titles were very playable.
With MSH Vs SF and MVC1 being the best. Graphically much of the original animation was present with very little, if any, slow-down during gameplay, and the pseudo-tag mode played well.
Solid ports considering the hardware.
PS1 and PS2 have some of the greatest gaming library’s out of all the consoles. Truly legendary. I need more PS1/PS2/PSP games, but they’re getting harder to find…only pawn shops really carry them anymore in my area.
Yeah PSP was like a 2nd gen, portable PS2. One of my favorite game systems of all time.
I have my doubts that Vita was surpass it.
On the contrary, I felt like PSP was rather lacking. I used it mostly for practicing Tekken 6 on the go. And all I have on my memory stick are tons of fgs and old roms. Also Maverick Hunter, MM Powered Up, Kenka Bancho, Metal Slugs, Basara Battle Heroes, Monster Hunter, and hell…a few others. Couldn’t really find anything I wanted to get into and didn’t play what I had. Totally forgot about that God Eater game I wanted to check out.
To me, it felt like they secretly gave up on the PSP rather early. Maybe it had to do with pirates. But other than rpgs and some great fg ports, blah. And the Vita isn’t impressive to me in terms of it’s collection right now. Sony damn near needs some strong IPs exclusive to the system.
Was Arc The Lad Collection any good?
Damm, bust a move / groove… me and my cousin broke that game, lol. We did mini tourneys back on the day for BAG 2 (Jap version, USA version music SUCKS)
I remember playing FFVI and Chrono Trigger’s PSX port. Load times were ass in those games, despite being from the SNES.
Some of my fondest childhood memories come from playing Guilty Gear. The game had some lolbroken mechanics at times (Insta-kills won two rounds and had stupid activation requirements) but was fun enough for me to play hours on end, even just playing arcade mode.
resident evil 1.
that is all.
Geadom
I never finished 3, but 1 and 2 were what got me into alot of jrpgs. I just really liked the characters and story. Plus the monster training and ninjas with shotguns.
I didnt like it, you’d be better off getting
Lunar
Jade Cocoon
Threads of Fate
Legend Of Legaia
Parasite eve
Vandal hearts
I remember that game.
It was so seriously bad, I think I almost pissed myself laughing playing it.
Man, peeing was sure fun.
Resident Evil 2 actually :wgrin:
RE1 was the first, but the formula didn’t hit its stride till 2. Out of the four original old-school REs(1-3+Veronica), RE2 probably has the best example of that engine.
ya cause you were on drugs playing it. That game had good reviews by everyone, and it had a lot more gameplay, and was more complex then pokemon
resident evil 2 is overrated as fuck.
its linear compared to 1 and 3 and they fucked up with the zapping system.
