I admit they are good, but nec is 4 months away. I know they have an advantage cause they had it for a while, but I think 4 months of practice will be good enough to handle them. Like I said in the Arcana thread, I don’t care who I fight because I don’t think about losing before I go into battle. Those who automatically think they will lose before playing are only defeating themselves before the match starts.
You should know man, I went up against NY in marvel when they were too strong and I was just coming up, and look where I am in marvel now. That kind of talk never phased me back in the marvel days and it won’t in this game either.

Who’s the Starting 5 on the PA Side?
I dont think the teams are gonna be set up yet since no one in PA realy got realy good yet. So far the best players seems to be Hal, Nas and Hyo but that might change seeing that me and eric are steppin up. Other ppl like Trap and Pesky might take this game as serious as mvc2 so who knows whats gonna happen in the weeks to come.

I rolled into the arcade with 50 cents, got beat and left.
I needed more time to calm down/get adjusted. Jesus my hands were shaking while playing the match.
EDIT: I may just be me, but I noticed the sound for arcana was turned way down, I could barely hear anything on the screen.
Oh and university pinball, you cannot hear ANYTHING on arcana heart when there’s other games being played in that area. I mean you can hear cvs2 over that game and it’s on a small cabinet. But the basketball game and the shooting games really block out the sound for arcana. Let alone the volume on arcana is CRAZY low, so do you think you could turn it up. Many people were complaining about that because it does kind of throw you off when you can’t hear anything but jukebox and basketball cheers lol!
But yea, it’s a sick game with awesome sound effects so make it loud as possible I suppose.

I concur about the sound, that whole (circus claw game is louder, not to mention that someone was playing raiden and I couldn’t hear shit). Once again UP I’m not trying to bitch about the little stuff but the sound is low and it does make the game less (just a little) enjoyable.
I’ll be in today around 2-3 (hope to see dave) I played eric yesterday and proved the victor I also played Fiona (altough it was trap’s and not Nas’) and found out how to get around her, so I hope to play nas sometime soon (can’t on sunday) maybe I’ll see you on my lunch break tuesday. I haven’t played hal or D-Hyo since I first started, i’d like to see how I’d fare against y’all now. I know you’re both better than me but I’d learn more losing to you than playing by myself.
I am gonna head down to the arcade shortly so I will be there around 2pm.
Oh and I also think the sound on arcana is too low, its kinda hard too get hype playin a new game when u can barely hear it

I’ll be in here tomorrow dawain. I’m trying to keep the hype up around Arcana by giving everyone some competition whenever they come in. I think everyone I’ve played has realized how popular thats made me with the rest of the staff here :rolleyes:
The problem is I know if people keep coming in at different times and playing by themselves this game is going to die out sooner than it should.
My main concern right now is making sure that the new games we are getting don’t die out. When Arana starts making MVC2 money they’ll be glad I did it.
