Came down on friday and had a good sessions with Eric in XI. A couple more poeple were on the machine, but they kinda stryed off andeventually left once we both got on. It was refreshing to play XI again after so long, it was funy how me and Eric were kinda struggling tryng to remember our BS during the matches we had. Trash talk central is what it was.
If any of you were down there, you might have seen me. I was wearing the big lime-green polo shirt, and I played PIU a couple of times. I played DR like twice, only because my friends wanted to see me play, but I suck ass at that game. I only know one combo with Lili, which is what I was attempting the entire time.
Hope to see some more people down there next payday. Brandon, I can’t really talk because I’m not into the Marvel community, but the arcade seems pretty fine to me when your playing the three games I was playing. You meet some cool people, sit down and have some matches, then have some nerdy discussions with random people before the night is over.Competition may not be as abundant as I’d like it to be, but I have a great time there which is what ithink matters.
I did…I got killed by Ryu’s Shinku Hadouken:annoy: strictly BS on Marvel last night. KOF XI was Crazy last night even with a loose ass Joystick, peeps was still playing. Eric was doing sum damage in KOF XI but it’s all good tho.
Aw man, I know who you are now. So now I’ll know to introduce myself next time I find myself lurking around the arcade. Yes them joysticks were extra loose, and yes the button layout was kinda weird, but I still had a fun time there regardless. I’m just happy my game is back in there.
I’ll be back up there with my liability Sol though, he wants to get up there and learn DR so he can prove hes the best Tekken player, or something like that.

Yeah man KOF is that Shit man. I luv my Capcom fighters but SNK Drops some Hot shit, I’m on it. Ya boi is Pretty Good in Tekken. Very impressive. Ya’ll should have been at Neshaminy today cause they were throwing Tournaments at Whatever game u choose.
D-Hyo is sooo right, I do believe that UP is officially DEAD (at least to me).
I went there yesterday and the only cats there were Stretch (tall old-head a philadelphia staple) and Jeff (the guy that ALWAYS uses Jill, Guile and Cammy) and at first things went smoothly then Stretch picked Sentinal and was killing me Storm (who can take a hit ok) with one combo knock up 1,2, fly, 2, assist, Rocketpunch. I knew immediatly that the damage was increased strectch eventually lost to Tron (who does massive damage) so me and Jeff checked out the other machines all of them (except the middle one with the ASS sticks) were set to max damage. I have NO reason to play there now. Now whoevers lucky enough to get the first hit wins. How stupid is that? I’m gonna write them (please do the same) and ask them to decrease the damage or they’ll probably lose more business than they’d expect (at least for the marvel machines)
DYO- You’re so right King of Fighters is up to XI now because they keep improving on their crappy game. See if something is EXTREMELY crappy then it would take several renditions until it shaped up into something good. The geniuses at Capcom only needed to make two MVC’s until they reached perfection. SNK is still trying to “improve” their crappy games.
U r such an idiot, PP!!! It didn’t need several renditions to become great, it just releases a yearly game, wheras the so called “geniuses” at Capcom can’t even count pass 3, 0_o!!! Hell, it took them almost 6-7 years to finally be able to count to three!
All SNK did was give KOF a yearly update so fans could expect a new game yearly! U don’t see anything like that from Capcom unless u count that craptastic RPG, El-Dorado! MvC2 could use an update 'cause u can’t say that there are plenty of broken characters in MvC2!!!
Don’t hate on SNK 'cause Capcom hasn’t made a decent 2D fighter in years, and has since given up on the genre :arazz: !!! They just can’t compete with SNK fighters!

What if UP got 3rd strike and a few other fighters for console? Kind of like how they already have multiple cabs that swap xbox games? The xbox anniversary collection is pretty arcade perf’ IIRC. That way they might be more willing to add all these games since they will only need to switch out one cab.
Controllers would probably be an issue, but eh, it’s a thought.

hmm… i guess ill be there thursday…i was going for orginally for tekken…but then i here about KOF XI so ill play a little of it…KOF isn’t in evo cuse it’s a bad game… it just dosen’t have enough fanbase… like the capcom games
Not to start the debate again but I do think D-Hyo (as the only real Evo contender here) has made a good point. Why hasn’t KOF games been accepted into the competitive arena at Evo? Anyone with an answer, other than it just doesn’t have the fan base.
And if it doesn’t have the fan base the question is why?
