Hey guys. I’ve been banging my head for a while against this fucking problem for a while now and nobody has a fucking answer for it. I swear to God: ANY OF YOU FIXES MY PROBLEM ILL BUY YOU ANY GAME YOU WANT ON STEAM! (Up to like 60$)
Ok here it is:
League of Legends, 10 players from all over the world, no fucking lag.
Battlefield 4, connected on a European server, 64 players, no fucking lag.
Marvel Heroes, like 20 players at a time on the screen, no fucking lag.
Wildstar, 0.5 seconds to 2 seconds lag.
FFXIV ARR, 0.5 seconds to 2 seconds lag.
Ok. Clearly the problem is MMO’s. It’s probably cause I’m connected to servers across the continent. Wildstar servers are across the continent. FFXIV ARR are 10 minutes from my house. Still 0.5 to 2 sec delay.
Ok. Maybe something wrong with the hardware. Just dropped 1000$ for a GTX760 and I5, latest motherboard, shitton of latest RAM. Still 0.5 to 2 sec delay.
Ok. Maybe it’s my net. I got cable internet plugged straight into my comp, no wifi, nobody else in the house. Still 0.5 to 2 sec delay.
Wildstar has this option to see your FPS and ping. My FPS is at fucking 120FPS and my ping is at 60ping. YET IT STILL TAKES 2 FUCKING SECONDS FOR AN ATTACK TO COME OUT!!! I go download this mod that shows your REAL ping. What do you fucking know, 200 to 300 constant ping.
I have yet to contact Wildstar or my ISP cause I know it will be a waste of time. They will just blame each other. What do you guys think? I wanted to have your opinion before I go crazy on them.
To recapitulate. All my games run great, with no lag except MMO’s. MMO’s fucking get 2 seconds lag. Or Delay… or sync I dunno. It feels as if the games are out of sync. I’m fucking pissed.

Easy solution. Dump any games with problems into this area of your desktop.

The coupon will likely pop up again on GMG before the upgrade drops. If your a frequent customer they’ll likely give you your on personal code to use. I would wait on it

Already spent $50 today. But on the plus side, I made $.66 :lol: by selling whatever trading cards I got from buying/playing the spoils (maybe I’m doing it wrong, I dunno).
I’m coming out of this relatively unscathed, actually. So far only dropped 4 bucks gifting Witcher 2 to a friend, and that was something I planned to do ahead of time once the sale started.
I’ve survived the first night, lol.

If you don’t care about profile level, you can make some change selling off stuff. I made $1.62 today clearing out my inventory of stuff I have no use for. I’m on the red team, so I’m just going to make the most of it.
