Why does Source have to have such shitty, shitty hitboxes and hit detection?
Did they fix that shit in CS: GO? Or is it still Marvel 3 Vergil normal-esque hitboxes where headshots are more common than anything else, to a point where you can get headshots without even trying to aim?
July 11th is my Birthday, guess Iāll be treating myself this yearā¦ problem is, I already have too many games to play. Ah well.
I really wanna get Shadows over Mysteria, and FTL, and maybe see what else is out there that looks cool. Not really into too many big AAA titles these days
There was a Rogue Legacy thread floating aroundā¦ but yes, my favorite game lately. Very Binding of Isaac vibe to it, which I loved and got Golden God in (but I stopped playing before the dlc expansion)
Iām probably going to wait till thursday to buy anything but I saw Rouge Legacy in the store and it looked fun. Procedurally generated metroidvania with different heroes? Count me in . @PimpWilly you havenāt played FTL?
Iām hoping XCOM sees a sale the most tbh. First summer sale, Iām pretty excited.
CS:GOās recoil is so derped, itās like Left 4 Dead 2 style recoil and the hitboxes are worse than Source they try to make it realistic when itās clearly not.
And yeah itās basically Vergil-esque and the Terrorists have way better weapons than the Counter Terrorists.
^ Cheap 2GB card that you could snag now if youāre on a budget, then later on buy another and SLI them. Iād spend the extra dough and go for the 760 personally, though.
The GTX 760 is just under Ā£200 so Iāll probably end up with that somewhere down the line but the 650 will do fine considering my budget at the moment (need new PSU and RAM).
No prob. Iād try to spend the extra dough on the 760 if you can, but that 2GB card is fine too. You can SLI it down the road and maybe get slightly more performance out of those two cards VS just 1 760, but thereās the problem of a lot of games not properly utilizing SLI correctly. You rarely get the full performance out of your 2nd card, so I personally think itās always better to go with one beefy GPU over two. Less problems you have to deal with as well from what Iāve seen.
Edit: Snagging that 760+having a decent amount of RAM and a good processor will future-proof yourself for next-gen easily. I wish I held off a bit on building my PC, I might need to upgrade soon(I run everything on the market with a 1GB GDDR5 GPU. The only game that rapes my PC is Crysis 3, and I figure once next-gen games start coming out my PC will probably have trouble keeping up. Iāll wait until then, though. Prices are constantly dropping in the PC market.)
Crazy people have two or three SLIād $1000 Titans. Beyond overkill on everything on the market right now, and it makes me feel poor because my entire rig cost about $1000.
Yeah definitely gonna make sure to future proof myself lol. Iāll end up getting the 760 itās just that the card I have now is complete ass and I need pretty much new everything which is why imma settle on the 650 for now.
Why the hell would anyone need 2-3 titans? Though if I could afford it Iād be doing the same lol
