I saw a playthrough of Harvester, and the game is fucking crazy.
I saw a little bit of the Retsupurae LP of Harvester and I got like 5-10 minutes in and stopped it and thought âYou know, I should probably experience this on my own first.â because it genuinely looked interesting. I wouldnât say itâs disturbing but itâs definitely unique and better then other attempts at surrealism/horror then most games of that time.
Dark Seed is such a piece of shit. Iâm so glad I only paid $2 for it and couldnât get it to work.
Theyâve fixed up a lot of issues, but it still has itâs issues.
As of May, theyâve been making a lot of server adjustments. Games are no longer peer-to-peer, but holy hell are the laggers still annoying.
- A really interesting 1hr & 30min documentary on the world of eSports and professional gaming. It delves into the lives of people who spend or have spent their time playing videogames competitively for a living. The documentary also focuses on the start of these organizations that finance the pro gaming scene, and in-depth look at how they shape the players around them.
Anyone out there whoâs younger than or around my age(18) should definitely see this, regardless of what your ambitions or interests are. I guarantee you that youâll learn ALOT, probably more than what any adult has spoke to you about life.
Volgarr is $4 but it and grow some hair on your chest also humblebundle madness will be madness.
>Harvester
>Good
No good would be something liek Full Throttle, Day of the Techtacle, ROBOTS!< Grim Fandango. Harvester is interesting from a âHow much worse can it getâ standpoint but thatâs about it.
Grim Fandango is unfuckwithable, thatâs a high bar to set lol.
Oh snap its mech. shoulda came out to fnc Tuesday and fought KBR man. Anyways donât know if this is the right place to mention it but how do you guys feel about the Humble Bundles? I know to some degree it f#cks with aspiring indies but most of the time I canât help it
iâm actually a little upset I missed the last one with image comics. if anyone is willing to share iâd gladly post up some stuff from the past bundles I copped. and yâknow drm free so everybody wins.
also any idea when the steam sale starts this year?
Was too poverty. Bills

Humble bundles are cool.
âŚSo they do comics too.
My wallet.
Sale should be during the prime of summer, IIRC.
Cannibal Holocaust wasnât real, but Peter Jacksonâs Dead Alive was real.
Grim Fandango. I played it for a few hours, really liked the artstyle and the game itself was pretty charming, but after a few hours of play I never went back because I just didnât care about the characters+couldnât give two shits what was going on in the story. You need these things to be interesting in point-and-click adventure games since the gameplay itself isâŚterrible, most of the time.
Same thing with the old Leisure Suit Larry games. I play 'em for a little while, then I stop because I donât care. Harvester is one of the very few games from the genre I bothered to actually play through. I donât give a shit about the Monkey Island games, either. Next Raptor is going to tell us weâre missing out because we didnât play the 50th Myst re-release.
Never actually played a Myst
Myst is like DOOM: Itâs on every platform you can think of.
Myst is everywhere and Iâve never played any of those games.
Didnât know there is a PC-game thread here. Good stuff!
Looking forward to the release of Clockwork Empire(hopefully soon!)

I just installed dosbox the other day and slowly working on Betrayal of Krondor rpg game. Game is just as awesome as I remembered it. Dat music.
Gamesrage.org has two worlds 1 and 2 for $1.75.
Money being irrelevant, are these games worth my time? My backlog is already enormous as is.
imo no
but I unfollowed HB tweets because HB hasnât been offering anything worth my time or money IMO
I just canât hate a game that does this:

Watched the first 10 minutes, combat and procedurallly generated levels look okay, but that art yuck no thanks.
